Lady Bert’s denim jackets have become the object of desire

Lady Bert is the brand that manufactures custom denim jackets from proposals designs made by its followers. The world of fashion is evolving to a print on demand and companies like Lady Bert are listening to their customers to design, create and produce products that they really want!
So when Lady Bert asked their followers on Instagram to vote for the Denim jackets they would like to see in their shops, the frenzy started and once the collection was on sale, it just sold out in no time.
The collection includes pop stars imagery for the likes of Blondie, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, Madonna and of course Michael Jackson.
Not only the new way to provide products is revolutionary but it also put back the denim jacket back in fashion!
Of course those items are not officially endorsed by each artist but they are cool with a great design!

Michael Jackson x Tokyo Giants
The giants, A Tokyo Baseball Team, announced that it will begin selling merchandise in collaboration with global superstar Michael Jackson and his Estate on the giants online store, from tomorrow. Michael Jackson performed a total of 25 times at Tokyo dome and its predecessor Korakuen stadium. In addition to logos and silhouettes, each product is designed with Rabbit, The mascot of the team posing like Michael.In conjunction with the launch of the collaboration products, the mascot will be wearing the same costume than Michael at the game on October 12 at Tokyo Dome and will perform an original dance to Michael Jackson’s song.

Die #YomiuriGiants aus #Tokio sind die älteste und erfolgreichste Mannschaft im japanischen #Baseball. Sie haben am 12. Oktober 2021 in ihrem Online-Shop ihre neue "Michael Jackson Tokyo Giants" Kollektion vorgestellt. Die Kollektion, bestehend aus einer Tasche, einem T-Shirt, einem Hoodie und einem orangen Fanschal, ist die offizielle Zusammenarbeit der Tokio Giants mit dem Estate of Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson selbst trat insgesamt 25 Mal im #TokyoDome und dem alten Korakuen Stadion auf. Neben Logos und der Silhouette von Michael Jackson sieht man auf jedem Produkt ihr Maskottchen den Hasen Giabitt im Smooth-Criminal-Outfit oder wie es wie Michael Jackson posiert. Am 12. Oktober 2021 eröffnete Giabitt zudem im Smooth Criminal Outfit ein Spiel des Teams im Tokyo Dome und tanzte nach einem Song von Michael Jackson.

Tokyo Giants Mascot ready to be Michael Jackson

As mentioned few days ago, The Estate has teamed up with Japanese Baseball Team Tokyo Giants to produced very limited products.
But this is not it! The Team mascot, the rabbit, is all prepped to performed as Michael Jackson on the last game of the season at the Tokyo Dome.
Dressed with a sort of Michael Jackson Billie Jean outfit, the rabbit is ready to kick some MJ moves!

Solche "Mode" versteh ich auch nicht, gut, der Gedanke zählt, und das ist wirklich schön, aber da geht es am Ende auch nur um Geldmacherei, so plump und lieblos dahingerotzt, WTF? Würde ich nicht tot in Düsseldorf überm Zaum hängend tragen. Dezente Shirts mit einem Spruch von Mike oder einem lustigen Bild von ihm lass ich mir selber machen. Bin rausgewachsen, aber das Foto trug meine stolze Brust, jeder sprach mich drauf an.

Das erinnert mich an eine Jacke beim Lidl, von ich weiß es nicht mehr, auch Michael Jackson like mit Pailletten. Oha ich hatte mir das angeguckt das war so ein dünner Stoff ganz, ganz billig. Auf dem Werbebild sah das gut aus.

Letterman Jackets are back in fashion!

Last January, we told you that one of the signature accessory of Michael Jackson’s wardrobe was coming back in fashion: the Loafers. Today, it seems that another one is also doing a come back in the fashion world: The Letterman Jacket.
Michael wore the famous jacket since the release of “Thriller” short film where he was playing a college boy on a date. Since, he wore it on Tour, in official visits and casual apparel.
Not to mention that the King of Pop also released few branded Letterman jackets for his fans or crew on his tours.
The letterman, also known as the varsity jacket, has its roots in American college baseball. Originating from the Harvard baseball team in 1865, the idea of sewing the first letter of the school onto a uniform would soon bleed over to the Harvard football team. Although this was more of a team uniform, these origins set the trajectory for what we now know as the letterman jacket.
The popularity of this “letterman” jacket eventually spread across the country and the jacket that we know today took its form in 1930. The wool jacket with leather sleeves and chenille lettering also gained popularity through pop culture.
Although celebrities may not have earned their letterman through athletic achievements, they not only helped promote it to the youth, but they kept the jacket relevant for almost a century. Some icons known to have worn letterman jackets throughout the years include James Dean, Michael Jackson and A$AP Rocky.
It is safe to say that the letterman may be one of the most easily recognizable jackets among most, if not all sports. Athletes today will earn their letter after achieving a specific accomplishment. In high school, athletes earned their letters for going to state competitions in their sport or completing a certain number of years on their high school varsity team.
After the 90s, the jacket was less popular in the fashion world and clothing stores to the point it pretty much stayed in the sport world in America only.
In the last few years, the jacket is having a re-birth and you can find various models through the big brand stores. Even the Michael Jackson Estate released few of them for MJ ONE show in Las Vegas or the latest Varsity Jacket to promote “Thriller 40”.
So let’s get those jackets out now!

The two t-shirts (one black and one white) will be available on Saturday HERE.
