Off the Wall – From the Beginning, Brick by Brick takes you on a visual journey through the career of Michael Jackson, from his debut appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show up to and including the release of his adult debut, Off the Wall. Accompanying over 80 images are a series of historical overviews that explore Jackson’s growth from being a part of the Motown machine to shaping, creating and dancing his way to become a solo superstar with an album that redefined the music industry.

“As Michael was such a visual artist, I wanted to see more as such an iconic time period is currently being revisited” says author Pez Jax “Therefore I decided to set about filling in that gap and producing a book of unique images and detailed historical overviews.”

This book explores the idea of Jackson’s early career being representative of a physical wall, with each defining moment being another brick that builds up to Jackson leaping Off the Wall and in to the stratosphere.

Split in to 5 chapters, the book also contains an Indepth contribution from Journalist Kate Allen.

The Real Story, Dieter Wiesner's new book in digital format…


Dieter Wiesner's brand new book " Michael Jackson: The Real Story: An Intimate Look Into Michael's Visionary Business and Human Side " has been available for a few days in Kindle format Amazon France and on the Fnac website via the Kobo app.

Only in English and on 242 pages, this book by the former manager of Michael Jackson tells how two years after the death of the King of Pop, Dieter Wiesner spent time with Katherine Jackson who said to him then: You know, you were with him for a long time. You have to tell the story! You must tell my son's true story!

Dieter Wiesner explains in his book that Michael Jackson's mother helped him to realize that it was his duty and his responsibility to tell "the true story" of his friend. The author says that this book is the direct result of inspiration and encouragement from Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson.

If we have not read this book and therefore cannot give our opinion, know that its presentation explains that it contains many official documents as well as the transcription of more than fifteen unpublished voice messages that Michael Jackson had left on the author's phone. They are thus presented for the very first time following a legal battle won by Dieter Wiesner against the Estate.

Celebrating HIStory at Sixteen11

Sixteen11 just released 2 books about Michael Jackson’s HIStory album.

The first one is a re-edition of the Ultimate Collector Book Volume V: HIStory which is a catalogue of all merchandise made during 1995 to 2000 issued first in 2015. This time, Fabrice and Sebastian added over 200 items that were not in the first edition.

Rob Hoffman also participated to this brand new Edition now named “The Ultimate Collector Book: HIStory, 25th Anniversary Edition”, with a preface for the 2020 edition.
