    sich gestern an den 8. Todestag von MJ. Einige wählen dafür den Hashtag
    #8yearswithoutmichael. Michaels Tochter, Paris, zeigt auf Instagram ihr
    neues Tattoo „Applehead“ in kursiver Schrift und schreibt „Bei jedem
    Schritt den ich mache, hebst du meinen Fuss und leitest mich vorwärts.

    Erinnerung an MJ


    Sofitel Legend The Grand, Amsterdam: Wo sich Michael Jackson spendabel zeigte


    Er galt gemeinhin nicht gerade als geizig, und ein überaus
    freundlicher Zeitgenosse soll er noch dazu gewesen sein – in Amsterdam
    aber übertraf sich Michael Jackson 1995 selbst: Es war ein kühler Tag,
    als der Musiker im Sofitel Legend The Grand eingecheckt hatte.


    Vor dem wohl historisch bedeutsamsten Hotel der niederländischen
    Stadt versammelten sich die Fans, um einen Blick auf ihr Idol zu
    erhaschen. Sie trotzten der Kälte und warteten tapfer darauf, dass sich
    Jackson ihnen wenigstens einmal kurz zeigte. Und der war offenbar so
    sehr von dem Auflauf auf der Straße beeindruckt, dass er kurzerhand den
    Service rief. Seine Bestellung: heiße Schokolade für alle wartenden
    Fans.


    Dieser Wunsch überraschte offenbar auch das Hotel selbst. In
    Erinnerung an den Musiker benannte das Sofitel seinen Kakao um in »MJ
    Chocolate«, eine heiße Schokolade mit den Initialen Michael Jacksons.
    Serviert wird sie bis heute – und dies stets von einem Hotelmitarbeiter,
    der genau einen solchen glitzernden Handschuh trägt, wie ihn auch der
    2009 verstorbene Künstler oftmals trug.

    8 years ago, the world has lost the biggest Entertainer on the planet, Michael Jackson. June 25 is still a difficult day for his fans and commemoration and tributes have taken place again on this sad day.All over the world, fans gathered together in key locations, celebrities and the Jackson family paid their tributes on social media.The Michael Jackson Estate also paid tribute to Michael with the following statement:


    While our hearts remain heavy over the passing of Michael Jackson eight years ago, we take solace in the timelessness of his music and his message. “When I create my music, I feel like an instrument of nature,” Michael once said. “I wonder what delight nature must feel when we open our hearts and express our God-given talents.” For a planet in desperate need of open hearts and compassionate minds, we continue to seek joy and fulfillment in the music and entertainment he shared with us—and express hope that Michael’s message may someday “heal the world,” as he tirelessly strove to do.


    It is impressive to see what an impact Michael Jackson had or has on each individuals, not only for those who worked directly with him, his family members and friends but also his fans!
