Closure of mjnewsonline

Hello there, yeah, the decision to close the doors of MJNO couldn't be chosen worse than now, just closely before MJ's "Thriller 25" launch and maybe the start of a new MJ era as well.

But we have to accept Paul's decision, he's brought MJNO into being and thus he's the only one to have the right to let it crumble into dust again I'd say.

Do you know Michaholics.com? It's another good English forum and apart from this even a partner site of JV.

I'm still in shock, to be honest. It seems unreal... I remember back in the day when they first started out - who would have thought, something like this would come of it...

The timing is - well, there's no right time, but still - sort of weird with a MJ comeback being possibly on the cards. But I guess when it's time, it's time.
I wasn't an active poster over at MJNO, but I'm a regular reader and badwoman (my girlfriend and admin here) visits daily.

It was always a nice alternative to MJJF and KOPD - a sort of middle-ground between the two extremes.
And now it's about to just go away - I still can't believe it.

I haven't been there very often, either. But it was a great forum and the admins and members got all the best news from there. But it's absolutely ok, why the owner wants to close the board, so I think we all just gotta respect and accept that...

MJNO has now closed its doors...

It means that (with most browsers anyway) when you hover your mouse cursor over it, it says (in German):
