Pharmacy Sues Michael Jackson Over Bill
Jan 12, 10:00 PM ESTA Beverly Hills pharmacy has sued Michael Jackson, claiming the singer owes more than $100,000 for prescription drugs during the past two years.
Mickey Fine Pharmacy had an oral agreement with Jackson to pay for his prescription medications and sent monthly bills to the singer, according to the suit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
As of Dec. 25, 2006, Jackson owed $101,926 and had last made a payment in mid-2005, the lawsuit said.
Jackson's spokeswoman, Raymone K. Bain, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment. A lawyer representing the pharmacy declined comment.

What's wrong with this picture? 100,000 dollars? I don't know what currency you guys use in Germany, but to translate it I will say this. 100,000 dollars = a lot of money! A lot of money! It's extremely, extremely rare for a person to spend that much on prescription drugs in 50 years, let alone two years. I think Michael has a drug problem. That's a hundred and fifty dollars a day on prescription drugs.
Which also makes me think the pharmacy is crazy to bring this court. They are going to look like drug dealers. But seriously, there is no way this isn't a drug problem. I know he had one in the 90's for a while after the 93 allegations, because he admitted he was addicted to Morphine. It looks like he's addicted again. It's sad, because this is a time when he should be getting his life back together and concentrating on a new album. Drugs will make that a lot harder.

job.

Music videos
Masterpieces. But dont forget one thing: A LOT of talented professionals are working FOR Michael to make them masterpieces!
you have to remember though, those professionals didn't just make a video for Michael and than never work again for anybody else. The people who worked with Michael worked with a long list of artists and have helped make a ton of videos. But their other videos are still incomparable to Michael's. And it's not just because of the budget and story.
Look at Smooth Criminal. I doubted it costed millions to make, and it's one of the best videos of all time. Remember the time? The first five minutes and guest stars are not what make the video good. It's the ending where Michael screams and dances.

I know this sounds like a silly pointless thread, but I'm bored, and curious exactly what other posters here think specifically about different areas of Michael's talent.
Dancing
I'd like to say he's in his own league, but it feels like I'm selling him short. It's more like he's got his own league, and the two or three leagues between him and whoever is the second best dancer, are all empty. He's that far ahead of everybody else.
Vocals
I think he is the best vocalist of all time, but I can't say he's in his own league. There are others whom I think are in his league, even if they aren't as good.
He has an incredible range, and a lot of different voices he can sing with. He can do a lot of tricky note combinations. And his raspy screaming agressive voice is out of this world incredible. Out of all the things he can do with his voice, his screaming angry voice is my all time favorite MJ voice. It's just so powerful and perfect. The perfect amount of rougness.
Song writing ability
I don't believe he is the best song writer of all time. I think he is an excellent song writer.
Music videos
They begin and end with Michael Jackson. With the exception of him, there aren't many videos that offer anything the song by itself doesn't offer.
Performing
Well he is the best, but I think that is becuase of his dancing. Nobody else can make my jaw fall.
-
I'm glad he's collaborating with a choreographer. I want more videos with back up dancers, rather than videos such as In the Closet or Jam. Let alone Butterflies. He isn't even in the video.

thanks -
at the moment I'm at a computer where the translator page isn't on my favorites menu, so I can't find it quickly, so I dont' know what the popular response is here in this thread, but I'll be honest.
If this is true. If he's in the U.S., and he will be performing here a few times a week?
OH MY FREAKING GOD, HALLELUJAH! Maybe I will finally get to see him in concert, because I could never afford the total added up cost of seeing him overseas, but the thought of seeing this man in concert? You have no idea, well you probably do, but I would probably die or faint at the sight of him in concert! -
Hallo Neuer.;D Crunk gehört zu Hip Hop Mäusken.;)
nice sig:) -
This is by far one of the best remixes I've ever heard, but it feels incomplete to me. It feels like it needs to be a minute or two longer, and the synthesizer needs a solo.
-
-
also how come this isn't in the download section? Not that I'm complaining, because I still don't have access there for like another week and a half or so.
-
OMG! That Give in to me remix is freaking awesome! Thank you so much!
is that the only remix from your post? -
P.S. For thsoe that don't know. Pat is short for Patrick. I dont' know if anybody has that name in Germany.

Okay it all started when I was 7. Bad just came out. I loved it. I was a huge MJ fan as was every other person I knew. I remember me and my family would sit around watching mtv just waiting for MJ videos to come on. Then it seemed like MJ disappeared for a little while. When I was 10 I remember watching the debut of black or white on the news. I was a huge fanatic. And I mean huge. I taped all of his marathons and watched his vidoes all the time. I owned Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, and Dangerous. At 10 years old I was dancing just like him. And I was really good. Even won a talent show at my school dancing to black or white. Everybody knew me as the kid who could dance like Michael Jackson.
When I was eleven years old Michael was accused of child molestation. Thats when the taunting began at school. Remember, everybody knew me as the kid who could dance like Michael Jackson. So at age 12 I hung up the dancing shoes and threw away my MJ stuff. I didn't want to be known as the MJ kid anymore and get made fun of. I started getting into bands like Metallica and Aerosmith. I started dresssing like it too. I had ripped jeans, flanel shirts and long hair. When I went into junior high and met a lot of new people, I didn't want people to know that I used to dance like MJ. I wanted to fit in and be popular.
Fast forward to 20 years old. It's been eight years since I've watched MJ, heard MJ, or even attempted to dance. He was almost a forgotten memory. It's 2 a.m. in the morning and I'm with two of my best friends at a restaurant stoned out of our minds. One of whom I've known for 8 years, and the other I've known for one year. The one I've known for one year was named Pat. Pat starts asking me what schools I went to as a kid. He asks me if I went to Whittier, and I said yeah, and he told me he used to go there too. Then he says "Were you the kid that used to dance like Michael Jackson?" He said that he was thinking about it, and realized that I looked just like the kid.
I admitted it was me, and I was extremely embarassed. It was like this big secret I didn't want people to know. After I told him it was me, he goes "Dude you were awesome! Can you still do it?" I didn't know if I could still do it, because it had been almost a decade and I certainly didn't want to try. I even made fun of Mj a little there trying to further distance myself from my past.
Patrick tells me he's got Beat it and Billie Jean in the car. We all leave the restaurant. Pat puts on Beat it. It's the first time I"ve heard MJ in a decade, and I'm thinking man that's a really good song. He played it again, and now I'm like really getting into it. I say hey man stop at Block Buster video. I've got to rent a video. I go in and rent History voume 2 the vidoes. We all go back to my place and watch it. At this point I'm dying and exploding with anticipation to watch Smooth Criminal, for it had been my absolute favorite music video as a kid. Watching that video felt so dang good! I was loving it and thinking about what I missed out on for the last 10 years. After my friends left I watched the entire video tape. I was just amazed. Even though I loved him as a kid, I was still too young too appreciate the serious level of talent this guy had. I was just blown away by is vocals. Needless to say I stayed up the whole night watching his videos.
The next day I went and bought Dangerous and Bad. And then I danced again for the first time in almost nine years.
And it felt so gooooood! And Michael Jackson was officially my all time favorite musician again!
That was five years ago now. I'm still a fanatic, and I can dance better now than I ever could. I've gotten pretty dang good, and it's totally a high. It's like a rush that comes over me when I'm really getting into it. I can do it all. I can do the moonwalk in place, the sideways moonwalk, of course the regular moonwalk, the robot and I just love doing it. I don't do it for the sake of immitating him. I just do it, because it makes the music feel so much better.
And now I will be a Michael Jackson fan for most certainly the rest of my life.:) -
Ciara confirmed she worked on the Hurricane Katrina single..
Just heard an interview she dont on the radio and she says 'Michael called her, and she DID go in to record the song!!!' but she said she don't know if they will be releasing it. Oh well at least this confirms the song actually exists.
the interview was edited and the only played clips. all she said is that michael called her and she actually went in to record the track and she doesn't know if it will be released. then the presenters stated the fact people thought it didnt exist at the time, but it actually does.
Source: MJ_and_Me, MJNO
6 weeks after that single was announced I knew it was never being released. I remember about two weeks after it's original expected release date, then MJ said it would be out within the next two weeks. Then it was very soon. Now they never even talk about it. Maybe they decided to hold onto it and save it for the next hurricane. -
Man I can't wait untill I finish this remix. It'll be finished in the next few days, and I'll have access to the downloads section in about two or three weeks. You guys will like it for sure.
nowhere to really post that, but I felt like saying it. I was just working on it, and I feel all excited and into it. It's of They Don't Really Care About us. -
Nobody can release those tapes for profit, i.e. make a CD with unreleased songs from that collection and put it in music stores...
That would be like copying a Thriller CD and trying to sell it in stores.
Those tapes are recordings of Michael Jackson's property. Owning those tapes does NOT give anyone the right to distribute the songs on them in any way whatsoever.
oh that's cool. I thought they had the rights to the music as well. -
part of me is looking forward to hearing the unrleased songs if they get released, but a larger part of me is sympathetic to MJ. He might have wanted to use those melodies or demos for something in the future, rather than have somebody else release them and get the profit.

I guess this means the thing with Black Eye Peas dude didn't work out.
