"ONE" - Die Show

    Am 12. März 2014 stellt "Michael Jackson ONE" die gesamten Einnahmen der Shows, der Charity-Aktion "One Drop - Trinkwasser für alle" zur Verfügung. "One Drop" ist ein Hilfsprojekt des Cirque du Soleil, dem alle Shows des Cirque folgen. Ein kleiner Prozentsatz der Ticketpreise geht schon längerfristig immer an dieses Projekt ab. Auch folgt "IMMORTAL" dem Anliegen von Michael Jackson, kostenlos in jeder Stadt für schwerkranke Kinder Tickets zur Verfügung zu stellen!

    In The Music) and Michael Bush (King of Style: Dressing Michael
    Jackson). They will all be at the Michael Jackson ONE Boutique at 3:15
    to sign copies of their books sold at the Boutique. Award winning
    director Spike Lee will also be there to sign copies of the DVD of the
    critically acclaimed documentary, BAD25, that he directed. See you all

    ... kurzer Bericht von Maike ... aus dem MJforever..die die show vor ein paar Tagen in Vegas sah:


    Ich versuche es mal aus meiner Sicht zu beschreiben. Zum Hotel kommt man zu Fuß, mit Auto oder direkt vom Luxor mit einer kostenlosen Transferbahn. Wir sind mit der Bahn gefahren. Wenn man dort dann aussteigt, wird man schon von Michael begrüßt. Dann muss man durch das Casino, wo viele Spielautomaten mit Michael stehen. Direkt neben dem Theater ist der One-Shop= sehr teuer!!! Aber es gibt Dinge dort zu kaufen, die man so nicht im Laden findet oder auch nicht unbedingt im I-net bekommt. Das Theater selbst ist gar nicht so groß, sodass man ein so ein heimelige Atmosphäre hat. Man wird zu seinen Plätzen geführt und schon ist man in der Show mittendrin. Während sich der Zuschauerraum füllt, sind die Künstler in den Gängen schon aktiv. Was da so passiert, möchte ich jetzt nicht schreiben, sonst ist es für die Besucher keine Überraschung mehr, so wie es eine für uns war. Wenn die Show beginnt, bist du erstmal total geflasht, weil überall etwas passiert: Michael , Tänzer ; Artisten , Feuerwerk ,…. und du von der Musik in den Sitz gedrückt wirst. Du lebst die Show mit. Der Bass fließt durch den ganzen Körper. Die Akustik ist gut. Die Musik ist laut und klar zu hören und es ist nicht unangenehm. Wenn Michael vorn, rechts, links riesengroß erscheint, schaut man nur noch gebannt dorthin. Der Unterschied zu Immortal- hmh, ich würde sagen, dass wesentlich mehr Tanzeinlagen und seine Moves im Vordergrund stehen. Es sind auch viele magische Elemente eingebaut. Sicher sind auch Artistikeinlagen wieder dabei, die sehr beeindruckend sind. Ich meine sogar Parts aus TII erkannt zu haben.Tja, und das alles im Rahmen einer kleiner Geschichte, die erzählt wird. Kinder versuchen die Magie von Michael einzufangen und stellen fest, dass …..Zum Schluss finden sie sie auf Neverland und Michael erscheint ihnen und er verteilt seine Magie in Form von Feenstaub. Was mich echt umgehauen hat war das Hologramm,es sah so echt aus und war so schön gemacht.
    So würde ich die Geschichte interpretieren. Das sind ein paar meiner Eindrücke. Vieles ist bestimmt an mir vorbeigegangen, weil es schwer ist, alles beim ersten Mal zu erfassen. Beim nächsten USA-Urlaub steht LV wieder auf meiner Liste und auf alle Fälle ONE.

    Siegfried has said it before, and repeatedly, for a very long time.


    “Always, I am waiting for Roy,” he says. “It is the story of my life.”



    Siegfried
    tempered his frustration with a grin. Yes, Roy was behind schedule, it
    was his 70th birthday and he’d already had a full night before arriving
    after midnight at a party set to begin two hours earlier. The
    invitation-only crowd at 1923 Bourbon & Burlesque by Holly Madison
    finally swarmed the legendary entertainers as they were led into the
    club.


    Balloons loomed throughout the nightspot as Siegfried and
    Roy were joined by an entourage that included Kenny Ortega (director of
    Michael Jackson’s thwarted “This is It” stage show and the “High School
    Musical” series), Bryan Singer (director of “X-Men”); Princess Irene
    (founder of the Magic Castle illusion enclave in Los Angeles); fellow
    magician Daren Romeo; and the ever-present Lynette Chappel (the Evil
    Queen in the duo’s stage show and a loyal confidant, aide and
    caregiver).


    Also in the crowd were a few Las Vegas entertainers:
    Riviera magician Jan Rouven (soon to be moving out for the big room at
    Tropicana), singers Ben Stone and Jasmine Trias, and “Absinthe” singer
    Melody Sweets.


    Joined by Ortega, Singer, Chappel and Princess
    Irene, the S&R crew saw “Michael Jackson One” for the first time,
    and everyone came out of the show blown away. “What they do is just
    incredible,” Siegfried said, as Ortega added, “I wouldn’t change a
    thing. Jamie King (the show’s director) has done a fantastic job, and
    the cast is amazing.”


    Roy alternately stood and sat in his
    motorized scooter during the party, which he attended for about an hour.
    A stand of 70 cupcakes was set up in the club’s side room, typically
    called the Smoking Room, and the group of VIPs sang “Happy Birthday” in
    English, German and what seemed a variation of French.


    Afterward, Roy said, “I feel younger than ever. I feel great.” And then he turned to pose for more photos.

As a lover of the King of Pop, when I heard about the show a few years ago, needless to say I was intrigued. Well, I finally caught the show about a week ago at The Mandalay Bay.

    Daniel Lamarre, CEO of Cirque du Soleil just announced that the company
    is increasing their resources within the next 5 years with an increase
    of show from 18 to at least 25.With a new show to open in New York as a
    permanent residency, the company is now looking at having more than one
    show running in different cities. Therefore, ‘O’, ‘Michael Jackson One’,
    ‘The Beatles Love’ and ‘KA’, all very successful in Las Vegas, could be
    produced in other countries!The Cirque du Soleil targets are China, New
    York and London but would love to add Dubai, Mexico and Hawaii!Few of
    the partners are confident to what they have been presented with and
    mostly feasible and within 5 years, Cirque should have 2 permanent shows
    in China with few tours.Broadway is also on the radar of the
    multi-million company and are trying to get on the market with
    ‘Paramour’, especially after few failures in 2009.For MJ fans around the
    world, this is a great news and hoping to at least see ‘Michael Jackson
    One’ to be in Europe at some point soon! This has still to be confirmed
    by Cirque du Soleil.

    Der regionale TV-Nachrichtensender "More Las Vegas" hat heute nur auf Twitter überraschend bekannt gegeben, dass Michael Jackson in Las Vegas seine eigene Statue haben wird! Mehr um soll um 9.00 Uhr Ortszeit auf Fox5Vegas bekanntgegeben werden!


    Nach dieser Twitternachricht soll die Statue am Donnerstag um 11.30 Uhr in der Lobby des Mandalay Bay Hotels und Casino enthüllt werden. Sie wird eine Kopie von Michael Jacksons HIStory Statue sein, die damit zum ersten Male amerikanischen Boden "betritt". MJ Fans, die zufällig am Donnerstag anwesend sein werden, werden aufgrund der Einweihungsfeierlichkeiten eine Überraschung von MJONE bzw. dem Cirque du Soleil erhalten.


    Die Fotos von der HIStory-Statue stammen aus Enschede, Holland, 2011. Diese Statue von Michael gehört(e) einem schweizerischen Schausteller aus Zürich und konnte 2011 für Events gebucht werden.

    The Estate of Michael Jackson and Michael Jackson ONE will be having three-day birthday celebration in honor of the King of Pop next week.
    The event will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in last Vegas on August 27 and will unveil a spectacular piece of Michael Jackson memorabilia, the fourth to be loaned by the Estate and installed at the Mandalay Bay! The third one being the HIStory Statue which was unveiled a couple weeks ago!
    It’s happening on Aug. 27 at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. They will unveil a spectacular, iconic piece of Michael Jackson memorabilia, the fourth to be loaned by the Estate and installed at Mandalay Bay.


    Am 27. August 2016 um 17.30 Uhr beginnen die dreitägigen Feierlichkeiten zu Michael Jacksons Geburtstag rund um die Shows " Michael Jackson ONE" im Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Den Auftakt macht die Enthüllung einer vierten Leihgabe aus dem persönlichen Besitz von Michael Jackson.Diese feierliche Übergabe findet kurz vor der 19:00 Uhr-Vorstellung in Anwesenheit von Vertretern des Michael Jackson Estates statt.


    An diesem Meet-and-Greet von 17.30 Uhr bis 18.00 Uhr kann jeder teilnehmen, der ein Ticket für die nachfolgende Shows vom 27. August bis 29. August hat.
    Für die folgende Tage sind weitere Überraschungen eingeplant, inklusive einer besonderen an Michael Jacksons Geburtstag am 29. Bushs Buch "Michael Jackson King of Style" war so erfolgreich, dass Michael Bush bereits an einem zweiten Buch schreibt. Das ist doch 'was!

    On Saturday, Aug. 27, the Estate of Michael Jackson teamed up with Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil to launch a three-day birthday celebration for the King of Pop, who would have been 58 years old, Aug. 29.


    To kick off the festivities, members of the Estate unveiled an iconic piece of Michael Jackson memorabilia, thrilling guests as they revealed the legendary white-and-blue pinstriped suit and matching white fedora famously worn by Jackson in the short film for “Smooth Criminal.”“Smooth Criminal,” the sixth of nine short films to be produced by the King of Pop for recordings from Bad—one of the best-selling albums of all time—was a masterpiece, winning both the Critic’s Choice Award and the People’s Choice Award. It was in “Smooth Criminal” that the singer debuted one of his most recognizable dance moves—the anti-gravity lean, a seemingly impossible physical feat.


    The unveiling ceremony took place in the Michael Jackson ONE Theater lobby, where guests mingled with cast members, representatives of the Estate, ONE musical director Kevin Antunes, choreographers for the show Rich and Tone Talauega and more during an exclusive meet-and-greet. Guests reveled in the opportunity to witness the live reveal, commemorating the special moment by taking photos and leaving their birthday wishes for Michael at a specially created video booth.




    During his extraordinary career, Michael Jackson sold more than a billion records worldwide, released 13 No. 1 singles and became one of a handful of artists to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His artistry, choreography and music continue to inspire generations of pop, soul, R&B and hip-hop artists and fans. Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer of all time, which fans can witness when they see Michael Jackson ONE by Cirque du Soleil.
