I did not record this for the sake of putting out a ‘Michael Jackson’ set or mixtape. As sad as his death was, it reminded all of us just how much great music this one man made in his lifetime.

He spent 45 years dedicating his heart & soul to us through the gift of music. This is just my celebrating, rediscovering, and enjoying his craft and talent for what it is..

I felt like it was impossible to contain his musical span into one mixtape or set, so these are just some of my favorite songs and melodies, blended and mixed together. From early Jackson 5 material, to features from Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, DJ Spinna, etc., and classics as well. 2 hours & 7 minutes. Thank you for listening!

    [ame='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRqDDZLJEtg']YouTube - U2 - Angel Of Harlem (2009 07-18 Berlin)[/ame]

U2 and some guests from the audience (They held up signs which said something like "Me + guitar = Angel of harlem"). Bono saw it and invited them on stage. You can see this at the beginning of the video before I decided to follow Edge...
Watch out for Larry's facial expression at the beginning, he didn't know what was going on because he was sitting towards the back of the stadium.
And also Adam's way of handling this....priceless...as is Bono's (~ 166 cm) comment at the end!

Note: this was not planned or trained or something. Over the years U2 have often invited fans on stage to play with them. However, to my knowledge it was only once
    ([nomedia='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uvnomII']YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.[/nomedia] VOM)
before this date that more than 1 person got on stage... which makes this concert even more incredible.

Song can be found on the album "Rattle and Hum".

Included are snippets of Michael Jackson's songs "Man In The Mirror" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".

^ huch! dann bitte verschieben! thx

    Lyrics
You will, be missed, by all your fans
I clenched, my fists, but this' so hard to withstand
If I had the power to change one thing, I'd bring you back today
But life's not promissed and that won't change, im'a meet you there some day

In this lifetime I wonna thank you, for showing me the man in the mirror
In this lifetime I wonna thank you, you motivated the whole world to deliver
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
There's so much joy in our heart

Oh I wish, the world could see you the way I did
And I wish, they witnessed how a wonderful dad you were to all your kids
And I noticed it didn't stop there, saving children was one of your goals
Just donating all of your millions, so they could one day rule the world

In this lifetime I wonna thank you, for showing me the man in the mirror
In this lifetime I wonna thank you, you motivated the world to deliver
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
There's so much joy in our heart

One word for the media, please help the people see the love
Stop this garbage you're feeding us, show him for what he really was
Remember there was more to come, remember he's the chosen one
Remember he's the wisest one, remember him for what he's done
Remember him for what he's done, remember him for what he's done

In this lifetime I wonna thank you, for showing me the man in the mirror
In this lifetime I wonna thank you, you motivated the world to deliver
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
We cry out of joy (for you)
There's so much joy in our heart

Rest in peace and harmony, Michael. I love you, man.
