Attempts to bring the popstar to Sanremo began months ago. It took quite one month to understand exactly who actually is the singer's manager. His Washington's manager, Mrs. Raymone, was enthusiastic:"Michael wants to sing live, but since he's not too confident with his voice, he prefers a choral performance". A willingness returned with a promise to honor Jackson with an award to his career. Initial Jackson's request was to come to Sanremo without singing. Hypothesis immediately discarded by Rai: Sanremo is the festival of songs.

Jackson's give-up came at 11:00 pm (Italy time). "I'll be pleased to come to the next edition when my next album will be ready and I'll have set up my new 2008 world tour" said Jackson through his personal manager. "Sanremo is a too significant show and I don't want to come unprepared".

Michael Jackson will not partecipate to Festival

Long secret negotiations with the crisis popstar. Offered at least 380.000 euros, then the definitive "no".

Sanremo, Ariston Theatre (where the Festival every year is takin place) Feb. 27 9 pm: the curtain is raised and all the singers ready for the Festival are on the stage. In the main center Michael Jackson that sing with them We Are The World, the main song for World Peace and for the people of the third world. This was mainly the secret (failed) project of Pippo Baudo (the host of the show, he's one of the most important man on italian television) for the Festival that is gonna start in less then a week since today.
Attempts of bringin the popstar to the festival started months ago. At least, only one month only to discover who really is right now the agent of the popstar, that continuosly change agents and press agents. His Washington Agent, miss Raymund (maybe Raymone??) was really happy: "Michael wanna sing live, but he's not too sure about his voice right now and would prefer a group performance with all the other artists". This was not a problem for the organizer of the show who had promised also a special award in Jackson's honour to his career. Jackson initially wanted to come to the show without singin. Rai (Italian television) declined it immediately due to the fact that Sanremo is the festival's song.
Also the cost of the whole operation wasn't soo high: between 300.000 and 380.000 euros, most of them mainly for transports and organization of Jackson not all for himself. The project seemed to go ahead well also because Jackson himself wanted to do somethin for his European fans especially after the bad Music Awards appearance and to refresh his image after the trial.

Jackson said officially no last night at 23 pm."i will happy to be part of the festival next year when I'LL HAVE READY AN ALBUM AND I'LL BE READY FOR MY NEW WORLD TOUR (2008), Sanremo it's a big festival show and i wanna be well ready for it". Jackson said thanx to his manager.

Jackson was just returned from a long journey in Las Vegas WHERE HE HAS JUST SIGNED A MILLIONAIRE CONTRACT WITH JACK WISHNA FOR A SERIES OF EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCES AT THE END OF THIS YEAR.

Auch hier nochmal: Kann mich nicht daran erinnern, dass Michael jemals ne Tour angekündigt hat ohne das es dann wirklich was konkretes gab! Sowas sagt er eigentlich net...und die Album-Aussagen sind auch konkret. Find ich guuuut!

Abwarten;D Vielleicht kehrt der Fitness-Jäääckson zurück....ausserdem muss es ja keine 300-Stationen-Dangerous-Tour sein.

Da belastende an einer Tour ist eher psychisch und reine Einstellungssache. Wenn Stars eine Tour aus gesundheitlichen Gründen absagen, dann ist das meistens ein Vorwand. In Wirklichkeit haben sie nach einigen Wochen oder Monaten einfach die Schnauze voll, mehrmals die Woche von Hotel zu Hotel ein und auszuchecken und zu fahren/Fliegen usw.

Keine Sorge, das wissen die.
Auch dass der Tour-Jet immer genügend Sprit haben muss und Michael Outfits geschneidert bekommt und die Bühnen rechtzeitig stehen. Soundcheck wird auch dran gedacht:kicher
