    Michael Jackson has confirmed plans to buy a home in the UK this year, it has been revealed.


    The pop legend has spend most of his time living in Bahrain since his acquittal on child abuse charges last year, and recently signed a deal with the Prince of Bahrain's record label 2 Seas to release a new album [read: Jackson on the verge of new label deal].


    According to a report today in the Daily Mirror, Jackson is looking at places in Scotland and Ireland as a base for his family. "I'm here in London on business for a couple of days. I love it here," he said in an interview conducted at the Harrods offices, owned by his friend Mohamed Al Fayed.
