  • MURRAY MELDET SICH AUS DEM GEFÄNGNIS

    25. AUGUST 2013

    Miriam Hernandez

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Inside Men's Central Jail, Conrad Murray is in the final month of his incarceration, finishing a two-year term for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. His official release date is Oct. 28.

"For him, every night is an eternity," said Murray's appeals lawyer Valerie Wass.

Wass says Murray has been following the five-month civil case in which jurors are asked if concert promoter AEG Live hired him, and if so, were they negligent in supervising him.

Wass believes the jury may get stuck on the second question on the verdict form, which is essential for the Jackson attorneys to prove to win the lawsuit. The question is: "Was Conrad Murray unfit or incompetent to perform the work for which he was hired?"

Wass say Murray's understanding of the work for which he was hired was to treat Jackson's dehydration after laborious performances.

"There was no mention of any sleep issues or addiction issues or addiction issues or anything like that. In fact my client has maintained all along that he did not know about Jackson's addiction and that Jackson kept that from him," said Wass.

Wass says Murray's record shows he was fit as an internist to provide basic medical care for Jackson and his family.

The Jackson attorneys assert that AEG created a conflict of interest for Murray and that they should have looked further into the doctor's financial background to find out he was in debt. Wass rejects that reasoning.

"What is the difference if you and I go into a doctor, and a doctor is having financial problems and the doctor recommends surgery? Should we question it because the doctor is having financial difficulties? We wouldn't know that," said Wass.

Speaking from jail, Murray maintains he did not deliver the fatal dose of propofol and that he wants the medical board to restore his license. Wass is appealing his conviction.

"I'm pretty certain that if his conviction is affirmed on appeal that he would lose his license. If that doesn't occur, then it will be a fight to prove that what happened was an aberration and not something that speaks of his entire history and ability as a doctor," said Wass.

Meantime, the jury has not reached a verdict in the wrongful death trial. Jurors return on Wednesday to continue deliberations.

    Conrad Murray
    Delusional Ex-Doc Thinks
MJ Death Verdict Vindicates Him Exclusive

Michael Jackson's former doctor and convicted killer, Conrad Murray, must be getting pretty strong meds behind bars ... because he thinks the jury in the wrongful death trial proved he's a good physician -- he's dead wrong.

TMZ obtained audio of Murray leaving a message for someone shortly after the judge announced AEG Live was not accountable for MJ's death -- and on the recording, Murray says the decision proves, "I have never been and never will be an inept physician."

Murray's missing one giant point ... which is that the jury really only said they felt he was fit to do what AEG hired him to do -- be a good general practitioner for MJ. The part about pumping Michael full of Propofol every night was never relevant to the questions the jury was asked to answer.

In fact, the jury foreman made it clear they were NOT saying they felt Murray was ethical -- and said the verdict might have been different if ethics were in play during this trial.

Nonetheless, Murray feels vindicated ... so, you gotta hear him gushing and praising God, the jury, and the justice system ... this time, anyway.

  • Dr. Conrad Murray
I Want to Practice Medicine Again

    Exclusive

Dr. Conrad Murray will make his move after his release from jail in 2 weeks ... and sources tell TMZ, he's vowing to break back into the business of doctoring.

Sources directly connected with Murray tell us ... he plans to fight the revocation of his license in Texas. As for California ... revocation proceedings are on hold, but we're told he will fight that as well -- partly on grounds that he was singled out for unfair treatment because the patient -- Michael Jackson -- was incredibly famous.

Fact is ... Murray has practiced for 20 years and aside from the Propofol disaster, his record is unblemished. In fact, Murray has a legion of loyal patients who actually demonstrated on his behalf and were more than willing to fly from Texas to California to support him in court.

Murray is also taking solace in the fact that the jury in the MJ wrongful death trial concluded AEG was not off base in hiring him because he was a competent general practitioner.

Short story -- Murray has a built-in patient base if he can get his license back.

If he can't practice in the U.S., we're told he's not foreclosing the possibility of practicing out of the country.

Our sources say when Murray gets out of jail on October 28, he'll go off the radar for several weeks and then make his move.

When Murray resurfaces ... we're told he will fight fiercely to regain the right to practice medicine.

  • Dr. Conrad Murray Won’t Get Medical License Back In California

The Medical Board of California has refused to reinstate the medical license of Dr. Conrad Murray.
Dr. Murray recently revealed that he wants to practice medicine again after he is released from jail later this month. However, the Medical Board has already started the process of revoking the doctors license.
The revocation has been put on hold as Murray attempts to bring his case before an appeals court to reverse the verdict.

A source at TMZ bluntly responded “He’s not getting his license back” because of what he did to Michael Jackson.
The case isn’t just about Michael Jackson dying because of Conrad Murray, the Medical Board of California is also scared by the doctors use of Propofol for 60 days straight on a patient. That decision ultimately led to Michael Jackson overdosing. The board believes Murray’s use of Propofol as a sleeping aid was “shocking.”
When doctors make a mistake in California the board will often overlook a first time offense for misdeeds. Doctors have gotten off with warnings for cocaine use and even when accidentally hurting a patient. However, when offenses are based off “moral failing” they tend to view the deeds as unforgivable.
Dr. Conrad Murray’s medical license is currently suspended which means he won’t be able to practice medicine during the appeals processes.
We’re not sure who Dr. Conrad Murray plans to treat if his appeal is successful. The doctors name has become synonymous with Michael Jackson’s death and his actions will likely make most patients seek another doctor.
In the meantime Murray continues to claim that he was an innocent bystander in Michael Jackson’s death. The doctor claims that Jackson took an overdose of Propofol without his direct supervision.
Would you be willing to visit Dr. Conrad Murray for a consultation given his background?

  • Los Angeles District Attorney Moves To Block MJ Death Doc’s Bid To Regain Medical License
    http://vallieegirl67.com/2013/10/17/los-…edical-license/

The Michael Jackson wrongful death lawsuit is over, but the fall-out for MJ’s death doctor, Conrad Murray, is just beginning. Although Murray has reportedly set his sights on practicing medicine again once he is released from jail on October 28, an insider tells RadarOnline.com that the L.A District Attorney’s office will do everything in their power to make sure that doesn’t happen.

“The L.A. County D.A.’s office will be closely monitoring Murray once he is released from jail,” an insider tells RadarOnline.com. “If he tries to get a medical license in the U.S. or anywhere around the world, the D.A. will make sure the appropriate officials are aware that he was convicted of killing someone because he used propofol in a house.”

"Die Staatsanwaltschaft des LA County wird Murray gut überwachen, wenn er erstmal entlassen ist," sagte ein Insider zu RadarOnline. "Wenn er versucht seine Lizenz in den USA wieder zu bekommen, oder sonstwo auf der Welt, wird die Staatsanwalt sicher stellen, dass die zuständigen Behörden wissen, das er ein verurteilt war, weil er jemanden umgebracht hat, weil er Propofol in einem Privathaus benutzte."

The source continues, “He is a danger to any potential patients because he lacks proper judgment skills.”
"Er ist eine Gefahr für jeden potentiellen Patienten, denn es fehlen ihm grundliegende Kenntnisse."

Murray was sentenced to four years in prison back in 2011after he was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Jackson.

Automatic credit for good behavior lowered his actual time served to two years. Despite that verdict, Murray reportedly feels vindicated because the wrongful death trial verdict found Murray to be a reasonably competent caregiver for Jackson, and that AEG was therefore sufficiently prudent in hiring him.

Doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson begs for police protection upon prison release

THE doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson is begging for police protection when he is released from prison next Monday.

Conrad Murray, 60, claims he, actress girlfriend Nicole Alvarez, 31, and their four-year-old son Che will be "sitting targets" for revenge attacks.
The celebrity medic is petrified that the safety of his family may be compromised by Michael Jackson fans desperate to get revenge on the man convicted of killing their idol.
Michael Jackson died on june 25, 2009, after suffering cardiac arrest brought on by heightened levels of proposal and benzodiazepine.
Despite being convicted of involuntary manslaughter, Murray is being released from prison early.
Murray will have served less than half his four-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter.
It is rumoured that he will appeal to have his medical licence renewed once he freed on October 28th.
The revelation of the doctor's freedom is another terrible blow for the Jackson clan, earlier this month the family lost a court battle with AEG.
The court ruled that AEG were not responsible for Michael Jackson's death through negligence.
The process is thought to have cost millions of dollars in legal fees.
Michael's brother, Jermaine, claimed that Murray's freedom will be "almost too much to handle".
