"Neverland Landing" was written with Buz Kohan in 1983, and recorded in April of the same year for it to be featured in the Peter Pan musical, which Spielberg directed. It ultimately didn't make the cut. According to Kohan, "Neverland Landing" is complete.

The song was further worked on in 1986, likely intended for the Bad album. This is the version that was leaked on January 5th, 2026.
“Neverland Landing” was reworked by Jackson in the 2000s with Brad Buxer, as it was registered with The U.S. Copyright Office in 2010 along with other pieces the duo worked on around that time.[3]

Ist in der Tat ein Loren Song. Der zirkulierende Mix entstammt Brad Sundbergs zweiter Festplatte/SSD.
Noch ein weiterer gesellt sich der heutigen Runde, "World of Candy".
Von vielen belächelt und geschmäht - verstehe ich ehrlich gesagt nicht. Es hat schon einen Grund, warum einige Songs aufgenommen und danach nie wieder in Angriff genommen wurden.
Auch ein Michael Jackson hat durch Trial & Error Hit, wie auch Shit Songs kreirt.

Hört sich wie ein Werbesong an. Oder wie für den Candy Shop/Stand auf Neverland... wenn Besuchergruppen eintreten.
Gibt's dazu Infos? Klingt mit dem Kinderchor ja schon recht fertig produziert.
Das "Klicken" was man durchgehend hört, stammt übrigens von einem Sequenzer und gehört eigentlich nicht zum Song. (Das Hardware Teil, dass früher per MIDI alle Instrumente synchron gesteuert hat. Das Klicken war der hörbare Taktgeber, wenn man etwas Neues dazu einspielen wollte.) Vielleicht hier auch nur vom Leaker hinzugefügt.
Der Song wurde 2003 für ein Kinder-Projekt aufgenommen.
