Mr. Jackson did not move to Las Vegas to shop a Vegas show. Mr. Jackson
is in Las Vegas because he likes the city, and found it a convenient location
to record with the artists, songwriters and producers who are working with
him in the studio.

Mr. Jackson has no current plans to appear or perform on “American Idol.”

Mr. Jackson did not either solicit, ask to be given, or attempt to buy tickets
to the recent NBA All-Star Game, as has been widely reported. Mr. Jackson
was invited by several owners of NBA teams, as well as players, to attend
the game as their guest. However, Mr. Jackson declined these kind invitations.
Widely spread reports that Mr. Jackson sought tickets, and was denied
his request, are completely false.

Mr. Jackson never leased property from Michael Flatly in Ireland. Therefore,
reports stating that he was “evicted” from property owned by Flatly are
erroneous and defamatory.

Mr. Jackson has not recently released or recorded a single with Pras.

Immerhin wurde jetzt offiziell bestätigt, dass es verschiedene Angebote gibt für Michael wieder auf der Bühne zu stehen und dass er diese derzeitig sondiert und prüft. Hoffentlich lässt er sich nicht allzu lange Zeit, auch wenn er sich nicht unter Zeitdruck gesetzt fühlt ...

Jackson `evaluating' Las Vegas offers

LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson is "reviewing and evaluating" proposals for his future including several offers to perform in Las Vegas, his spokeswoman said Tuesday, but he doesn't feel any pressure to make a quick decision.

Raymone K. Bain confirmed that, after a period of globe-trotting, Jackson is currently living in Las Vegas.

"Mr. Jackson has been presented numerous proposals - proposals which he has not solicited, but were presented to him, several of which include performing in Las Vegas," Bain said in a press release. "Mr. Jackson is currently reviewing and evaluating each proposal. He does not believe that he is under any time constraint for making his decisions."

No details of the offers were released. Bain could not be immediately reached by phone.

The release was issued to counteract a number of false rumors, she stated, including one that Jackson has failed to find a Las Vegas casino for a show and another that he would soon appear on "American Idol."

"Mr. Jackson did not move to Las Vegas to shop a Vegas show," Bain said. "Mr. Jackson is in Las Vegas because he likes the city and found it a convenient location to record with the artists, songwriters and producers who are working with him in the studio."

Bain dismissed the "Idol" report.

"Mr. Jackson has no current plans to appear or perform on `American Idol,'" she said.

The pop icon took up residence in Las Vegas a few months ago after traveling in Europe, living in the Middle Eastern kingdom of Bahrain and then moving to Ireland. He still maintains his Neverland ranch in Santa Ynez, Calif., but he has not lived there since shortly after he was acquitted of child molestation charges in a sensational trial in 2005.

Los Angeles (E! Online) - Michael Jackson isn't up to much these days. Please make a note of it.

On Tuesday, the pop icon's rep sought to squash some of the latest rumors concerning Jackson's next career move, his recent return to the U.S. and his social standing with the National Basketball Association, issuing a press release that featured a laundry list of things that the Thriller singer has not been a part of.

As far as Jackson's performance itinerary goes, he is not planning to hit the road with his family, he won't be appearing on American Idol anytime soon and, despite recent stories suggesting that he has "been unsuccessful" in finding a suitable long-term project in Las Vegas, he is still weighing his options, according to rep Raymone Bain.

Crediting unnamed sources, Fox News reported Friday that Jackson and sister Janet Jackson had agreed to participate in a concert tour with their less wealthy siblings, including—well, all of them, really—brothers Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Tito and Jackie, all of whom supposedly met up in Las Vegas last week.

However, you can cross that family reunion off your calendar, said Bain, who in recent weeks has also shot down the Idol speculation that Jackson would either perform or serve as a guest judge.

As for Jackson setting up shop in Sin City à la Celine Dion, a story that gained traction as soon as the elusive performer touched down stateside in December after spending a year and a half living abroad, Bain says that multiple options are still on the table.

"Mr. Jackson has been presented numerous proposals," she said, "proposals which he has not solicited, but were presented to him, several of which include performing in Las Vegas. Mr. Jackson is currently reviewing and evaluating each proposal. He does not believe that he is under any time constraint for making his decisions.

"Therefore, reports that he has been 'unsuccessful in finding a Las Vegas casino for his show, resulting in his having to turn to his family' are false." (The aforementioned Fox News report stated that Jackson has "so far been unable to get work in Vegas.")

In other career non-developments, Bain also refuted a Feb. 15 billboard.com item stating that Jackson had popped up as a guest artist, along with the Fugees' Pras, on New York rapper Temperamental's latest tune, "No Friend of Mine," which is streaming on the artist's MySpace site.

"Mr. Jackson has not recently released or recorded a single with Pras," Bain stated. Let alone with Temperamental, apparently.

However, according to many reports, Jackson has been working on a comeback album with the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am, who recently called the onetime King of Pop "the smartest dude ever," a sentiment that has not been disputed by Jackson's camp yet.

Bain also took issue with a New York Post report that Jackson had "waited too long to call for tickets" for the NBA All-Star Game, which took place Feb. 18 in Vegas, and was in turn denied courtside seats.

"Mr. Jackson did not either solicit, ask to be given, or attempt to buy tickets to the [game]," Bain said. Instead, the "Leave Me Alone" singer declined invitations from "several owners of NBA teams, as well as players, to attend the game as their guest."

Meanwhile, a report that Jackson was evicted from Riverdance impresario Michael Flatley's Ireland home, where the singer briefly stayed last year, is also erroneous, Bain says, adding that Jackson never leased property from the mile-a-minute tap dancer.

Michael Jackson befindet sich nach Aussage seiner Sprecherin Raymone K. Bain derzeitig im Aufnahmestudio und ist mit Aufnahmen von Songs für sein neues Album, welches noch in diesem Jahr erscheinen soll, beschäftigt.

In einem am 27.02.2007 veröffentlichten Statement erklärt Ms. Bain folgendes: „Mr. Jackson is in Las Vegas because he likes the city and found it a convenient location to record with the artists, songwriters and producers who are working with him in the studio.” Zudem bestätigte sie verschiedene musikalische Angebote, nach welchen Michael Jackson bald wieder auf der Bühne stehen könnte: “ Mr. Jackson has been presented numerous proposals…proposals which he has not solicited, but were presented to him, several of which include performing in Las Vegas. Mr. Jackson is currently reviewing and evaluating each proposal.”

Angeblich soll Jackson sich in den “Record Plant Recording Studios” in Hollywood aufhalten, in welchen er schon zu „Off The Wall“- und auch „Invincible“- Zeiten aufgenommen hat. Informationen gibt es hier.

Stammgäste in diesem mehrfach zum „TEC Award“ als „Studio Of The Year“ nominierten Recording Studio sind unter anderem Will.I.Am von den Black Eyed Peas als auch John Legend, mit welchen Jackson derzeitig an neuen Songs arbeitet. Des Weiteren nahmen hier auch schon Künstler wie Janet Jackson, Kayne West und auch Pharrell Williams ihre Songs auf.

Erst vor kurzem soll Pharrell Williams, nach Aussage des Users „littlemj“ aus dem KOP-Board, welcher behauptet bei „UK Serv Music“ zu arbeiten, selbst einige Songs für das neue Michael Jackson Album vorgeschlagen haben. Inwieweit diese angenommen werden, werde man sehen: „Pharrell submitted songs for the album recently so we will see.”

Auch Ne-Yo soll weiterhin in die Arbeit am neuen Michael Jackson Album involviert sein. Wie schon vor einigen Wochen berichtet wurde, schreibe er einen Song für dieses Album. Seine geplante Partizipation bestätigte er nun gegenüber Billboard. Er habe mit Will.I.Am über dieses Projekt gesprochen, doch sei man noch zu keinem konkreten Ergebnis gekommen.

Wie Will.I.Am vor kurzem dem Rolling Stone Magazine in einem Interview verriet, arbeite er derzeitig an acht Songs mit Michael Jackson für dessen neues Album. Einer dieser Songs trage den derzeitigen Arbeitstitel „I’m Dreamin“. Ein weiterer Song, eine Ballade, soll von John Legend geschrieben sein. Hier geistert der Titel „If You Don’t Get It“ derzeitig durch das Internet.
Hingegen ist über weitere Songtitel bislang nicht viel bekannt. Den Fan-Song „You Are So Beautiful“ kündigte Michael Jackson fast gleichzeitig mit der bisher nicht erschienenden Charity-Single „I Have This Dream“ schon im Jahr 2005 an. Seitdem wurden lediglich die Titel „What’s It Gonna Be“ und „Unknown“ 2006 bei BMI.Com hier und hier geaddet.

Weitere angeblich beteiligte Personen am Album seien DJ Whoo Kid, Chris Brown, Akon und auch Usher, welcher schon vor einigen Monaten in einem Interview mit KIIS FM bestätigte: „We actually spoke about doing something, but nothing more than a conversation. It was for his project."

DJ Whoo Kid, welcher letztes Jahr die Ehre hatte Michael Jackson in Bahrain zu treffen und dort nach eigener Aussage mit ihm einige Songfragmente und Vocals aufgenommen hat, stellte Ende letzten Jahres mit dem norwegischen Rapper Jae-R ein Mixtape fertig. Vielen Michael Jackson Fans wird auch dieser Name geläufig sein, daher lässt sich vermuten wie Jae-R und DJ Whoo Kid in Kontakt gekommen sind.
Jae-R ist ein 21 jähriger in Oslo (Norwegen) wohnhafter Rapper, welcher mit Michael Jackson im Jahre 2005 über deren gemeinsamen Freund Omer Bhatti in Kontakt getreten ist und einen Song aufgenommen haben soll. Die Existenz dieses Tracks bestätigte er mir nun via seiner MySpace-Seite: „Thank u very much! I’m not sure yet when it will come out, but yes it is true. When the time is right it might come out. Michael is ready when Michael is ready! he is the King, u know!” Seine MySpace-Seite findet ihr hier.

Als einer der Produzenten der Zukunft wird Ron „Neff-U“ Feemster angesehen, welcher in den letzten zwei Jahren mit Künstlern wie Jamie Fox, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Akon und Brandy zusammengearbeitet hat. Nach Medienberichten des letzten Jahres und Aussagen seines Managers ist er nun damit beschäftigt am neuen Michael Jackson Album in irgendeiner Form mitzuarbeiten. Auch er besitzt eine MySpace-Seite, welche hier zu erreichen ist.

Über die von Raymone K. Bain im letzten Jahr bestätigten beteiligten Produzenten Babyface, Sean Garrett, Rodney Jerkins und Teddy Riley gibt es bisher leider noch keine weiteren Informationen. Klar zu sein scheint aber, dass Michael Jackson sich derzeitig in einer heißen Aufnahmephase für sein anstehendes und lang ersehntes Comeback-Album befindet.

Sony/ATV Music Publishing veröffentlichte am 27.02.2007 ein Statement, in welchem Martin Bandier als neuer Chairman und CEO von Sony/ATV Music Publishing vorgestellt wurde. Michael Jackson selbst, damit nun Geschäftspartner von Herrn Bandier äußerte sich wie folgt zu dieser Personalentscheidung: "I am thrilled that Mr. Bandier has agreed to become Chairman and CEO of Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Marty has over 30 years experience in the music publishing industry, and not only brings with him a wealth of knowledge about the industry, but the vision and ability to take the company to new heights. I look forward to working with him."

Der Popstar hat den Produzenten der amerikanischen Nachrichtensendung "Access Hollywood" geschrieben, um die Spekulationen um sein Comeback zu beenden. Jackson behauptet in einer Erklärung seiner Sprecher, dass die "unbegründeten Gerüchte" um ihn "fehlerhaft und unwahr" seien. Dazu gehörten Berichte, er würde eine Tournee mit Mitgliedern seiner Familie planen, auf eine Las Vegas-Show hoffen und ein Duett mit dem Fugees-Star Pras Michel auf den Markt bringen. LAS VEGAS (chart-king.de) - Das Comeback von Michael Jackson steht anscheinend kurz bevor. Raymone K. Bain, die Sprecherin des Sängers, erklärte jetzt, Jackson würde derzeit verschiedene Angebote prüfen. Darunter sei auch ein Auftritt in Las Vegas. Laut amerikanischen Medienberichten sagte sie wörtlich: "Mr. Jackson ist derzeit dabei alles was möglich ist zu prüfen. Er hat nicht das Gefühl unter Zeitdruck zu sein und macht seine Entscheidungen nicht davon abhängig."

Zuletzt hieß es, Michael Jackson wolle angeblich mit den "Jackson 5" auf Tour gehen. Auch seine Schwester Janet sollte mit von der Partie sein.
