Michael und Paris Hilton

“My mom and Michael went to high school together and they were best friends since they were 13,” Paris explains. “So I grew up knowing Michael very well and when he had his daughter, he always loved the name Paris and grew up being an uncle to me. So he asked my mom if it was okay and of course she said yes and I think she’s such a beautiful little girl and I’m proud we have the same name.”

awwwww....

When I started to rehearse with Michael
and if you look closely to what Michael Jackson is really doing
and you listen to the music,
he is the instrument of the music
and if you were deaf and you could not hear music,
you could look at him and see the music play in his body
and that just changed my whole view of dance
and changed my whole point of view on life.
I learned so much it was like I was reborn in dance again.

Jack Wishna found dead in Las Vegas -
November 28, 2012 7:06 PM ET

Jack Wishna, a Las Vegas dealmaker, was found dead at his home in Henderson, Nev., a suburb of Las Vegas. He was 54.

The circumstances surrounding Wishna's death are not known, but a report by the AP indicates police do not suspect foul play.

Wishna was responsible for many major Las Vegas deals, including a multi-million arrangement between Wayne Newton and the Stardust Casino. He also brought together Donald Trump and Treasure Island owner Phil Ruffin, who together built the Trump International Tower in Las Vegas.

A well-connected and well-known businessman, Wishna is said to have been responsible for talking Michael Jackson into returning to the United States from overseas in the mid-2000s. The pair were discussing a deal for Jackson to headline a themed casino act.

Wayne Newton reportedly calls Wishna a longtime friend, and says he was surprised to hear of his passing.

Wishna Regrets Moving Jackson Back to America

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 8, 2011 — As the Conrad Murray trial about the circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson’s death ended in a guilty verdict for Jackson physician Conrad Murray, rockcityclub.com founder and Michael Jackson friend Jack Wishna talked openly with ABC News about his relationship with Michael Jackson, moving him back to America and Wishna’s thoughts that maybe Jackson should have stayed in Ireland.
Jack Wishna, Founder & CEO of Rockrena Inc., helped move Jackson back to America to work on rockcityclub.com, a company that develops undiscovered talent in new and unique ways. Michael was excited to come back to America with his children and work on his career and rockcityclub.com.
Wishna convinced Jackson, who was residing in Ireland, to return to America and Jackson left it up to Wishna to find him a home for him and his three children. Wishna secured a mansion for Michael and helped move Michael and his kids into their new home in Las Vegas.
Wishna then brought aboard Don Kirshner, the legendary rock promoter and producer, and friend to Michael Jackson, to further help shape rockcityclub.com.
In the interview broadcast on ABC News last evening, Jack Wishna stated: “I will forever feel haunted by the thought that if I did not help convince Jackson to leave Ireland and return to America, would Jackson be alive today. In launching rockcityclub.com I know that Michael will forever be a part of each undiscovered talent that we promote and nurture through rockcityclub.com. He was excited to come back to America, and I am very proud and honored to have had Michael as part of our early company history. We will honor his memory and the legacy he left behind for millions of fans around the world.”
Excerpts of the interview can be viewed at: http://www.ktnv.com/news/local/133419218.html
The rockcityclub.com platform that Michael Jackson helped shape offers millions of aspiring artists a fresh alternative to shows such as American Idol and The Voice where only a lucky few make it onto television from the tens of thousands of hopefuls who audition. Rockcityclub.com focuses on the millions of undiscovered artists around the globe, offering them the tools to break through the clutter and build strong engaged fan bases, while offering unique career development and guidance to them by the biggest music producers in the world.

Jack Wishna wurde tot am 27.11.2012 in seiner Garage aufgefunden. In diesem Interview sagt er, hätte er M.J. nicht überredet zurückzukommen, würde er vllt.noch leben.

Dance Heritage Coalition Adds MJ To List Of Dance Treasures

(17-12-2012) Founded in 1992, the Dance Heritage Coalition (DHC) is the sole national non-profit organization in the USA dedicated to documenting, preserving, and creating access to materials documenting America’s dance legacy. Since 1999 the list of “America’s Irreplaceable Dance Treasures” included 100 dancers. Noone had been added to the list since....until last week. Michael Jackson was among new 12 honorees.

The other honorees include: Jacques d’Amboise, Jane Dudley, Garth Fagan, Frederic Franklin, Loie Fuller, Carmen de Lavallade, John Martin, Sophie Maslow, Daniel Nagrin, The Rockettes, and Maria Tallchief.

They were nominated by a national survey and vote in 2012. The original intention was to add 10 new Treasures to the original 100. However, in recognition of extremely close voting and in honor of the year 2012, it was decided to bring the number up to 12. Afterwards the nominees were confirmed by the Dance Heritage Coalition (DHC) Board of Directors. The 12 figures are celebrated online along with the initial list of 100 in an Online Exhibition of Dance Treasures.

The list of “America's Irreplaceable Dance Treasures” encompasses individuals, organizations, and dance styles, and is intended to heighten public interest in the magnificence and richness of America's dance heritage and the imperative to document and preserve it for future generations. “America’s Irreplaceable Dance Treasures: The First 100” was created by the DHC in 1999 from nominations submitted nationwide and vetted by a panel of experts; the Treasures formed the basis of the DHC’s traveling exhibition, which visited seven locations from 2004 to 2009. With the closing of the touring exhibit in 2009, the commemorative materials have been expanded and collected on the DHC’s website. A separate webpage is devoted to each of the Treasures, with essays, resource lists and curated visual materials. New pages for the 12 latest honorees have now been added to the online exhibition, which was launched in July 2012.

Michael Jackson's entry in the press release pf the DHC reads as follows:

Michael Jackson - The pop star who created the best-selling album of all time (“Thriller”), he has long been recognized as an exceptional dancer who combined elements from various vernacular dance styles to create a signature vocabulary and stage persona; his choreographed music videos broke ground in the development of this form.

....es ging um die Outdoorscenen bei moonwalker..

Over their 25 years working with Jackson, Bush and Tompkins became the entertainer's personal dressers, following him on tour and to video shoots to "dress him and make him laugh."
"This photo was taken at the Disney farm in 1987 during the 'Moonwalker' video shoot. Michael teased me about looking like Barry Gibb that day."
