Gerücht: Michael Jackson erscheint heute (Mittwoch, 20. Mai) beim American Idol Finale!

    Es geht mal wieder das Gerücht herum, dass Michael Jackson bei American Idol erscheinen wird:

    He wasn't there for the taping tonight. He was there earlier in the day and then went to the doctors office from there. His rehearsals are going on in Burbank- Nokia is pretty much totally taken over by AI right now.

    Will Michael Jackson Appear at the American Idol Finale?


    Every year since the dawn of American Idol, rumors have surfaced about the possibility of Michael Jackson appearing on the show during the finale. So far, despite plenty of build up by media outlets and the show's own stars, the rumors have been just that. However, this year the ongoing speculation may have more credence than ever before--though that's not to say it will really happen!


    You may recall that the Top 13 special this season centered around the music of Michael Jackson. Likewise, in a recent poll on AmericanIdol.com the Michael Jackson theme was one of the three listed choices in a 'favorites' poll (Michael Jackson night ended up winning with approximately 100,000 votes placed). Speaking to EXTRA back in March, Simon Cowell was asked, "There's a chance you may actually get [Michael Jackson] on the show?" To which Simon replied, "Yeah. The best platform you could have in America right now is American Idol..." One year ago, Cowell told BBC 2 that every year the possibility comes up and that "you just say 'yes' and hope one year he will [appear on the show]."


    While an official list of confirmed performers for Wednesday night's finale has been released, the crew at American Idol made it known that there are going to be additional performers not yet announced. Each year, there is at least one surprise performance or duet, although the surprise performer's involvement occasionally leaks before the show actually begins. Last night, Ryan Seacrest said that the "grand finale is packed with such great stuff that we're scheduled to go a little bit long, so I'm warning you now...set your DVR appropriately." Last week, former contestant Scott MacIntyre mentioned on his Twitter page: "Rehearsing music for the Finale..across the hall from Michael Jackson's band " Several independent sources also reported that Michael Jackson was at Nokia Theater today, perhaps to rehearse for the rumored performance at the finale, or perhaps just rehearsing for his own London shows! Of the possibility, an American Idol spokesperson said very little, other than that they are "just rumors." Either way, there appears to be enough speculation on the table at this point to tune in and find out (just don't be disappointed if all of this speculation again amounts to absolutely nothing)!

    glaube ich nicht. Würde für ihn momentan keinen Sinn machen. Die Shows in London sind eh ausverkauft und ein aktuelles Album oder sonstiges Projekt, welches man bewerben könnte hat er nicht.
    Somit wäre es klug sich einen wie auch immer gearteten Auftritt bei AI für nächste oder übernächste Saison aufzuheben.

    Aber schon nachvollziehbar, daß es einige hier posten.

    Weswegen der Thread ja zunächst auch klar als 'Gerücht' gekennzeichnet ist.


    Immerhin haben mehrere voneinander unabhängige Personen Michael beim Nokia Theatre, wo eben die Proben für 'Amerivan Idol' laufen, gesehen. Warten wir es einfach ab, entweder es passiert irgend etwas, oder eben nicht.

    ob es nun die auswahl der ersten tänzer war, oder der clip, den es gestern zu sehn gab oder courtnews info oder die meldung, dass es ein dementi wegen der krebs-gerüchte gab. ect ect...
    also da weiss man sehr schnell, was man als news und was man als gesabbel abtun kann.
    jedenfalls bedienen sich die allermeisten news-sites längst twitter als quelle, und ebenso als verbreitungsmedium widerum der eigenen news.

    einfach nicht den tatsachen.
    ausserdem machen wirs entweder schon im titel kenntlich, oder im post selber, wenn etwas via twitter kommt. insofern kann sich jeder selber entscheiden es zu lesen und darüber entscheiden wie glaubhaft es sein mag.
    wem es zuwider ist, der darf gerne warten, bis es eine woche später dann bei rtl exclusiv oder beim frühstücksfernsehn von sat1 läuft...letztlich über die gleiche quelle...:P

    Michael Jackson is being lined up as a special guest on The X Factor.


    Executives from production company Talkback Thames are said to have been talking with Jackson’s manager Frank DeLeo.


    It would see the King of Pop, 50, star in the X Factor final just before Christmas.


    Jackson is playing 50 dates at the O2 Arena in London from July this year to next February.


    He would be a mentor to one of the three finalists and sing a duet with his contestant.


    A source revealed that with Jackson in London, The X Factor boss Simon Cowell, 49, saw a golden opportunity.


    The insider added: “Talks are at an early stage but progressing well. Jackson’s representatives are open to negotiations and Jackson himself is said to be keen on the idea."


    “Simon’s priority is to get bigger and bigger guests on the show each year and they certainly don’t get much better than Michael Jackson."


    “It would be a real coup for the show. Simon desperately wants this.”

    Sehe ich genauso. Über Twitter kamen zuletzt immer am aktuellsten und schnellsten alle Meldungen herein. Dass hier und dort mal auch ein Fake dabei sein kann, ist eben das Risiko. Das Gute ist ja, dass es sich im Endeffekt recht schnell herausstellt, ob es wahr war, oder nicht. ;)


    Zu diesem Gerücht jetzt: Es kann ja auch sein, dass Michael aus anderen Gründen im Nokia Theatre war und nicht unbedingt wegen American Idol. Also warten wir einfach mal ab, was es noch so an Meldungen den Tag darüber geben wird.


    Nebenbei: Ich habe mal den Thread-Titel etwas abgeändert, weil man sonst den Eindruck bekommen hat, dass das Finale am Donnerstag abend wäre.

    Das Gerücht bezieht sich ja zunächst auf Dezember. Ich kann mir das schon gut vorstellen, in Zusammenhang mit einer neuen Weihnachtssingle zum Beispiel. Michael war immerhin auch bei 'Snap Snap', warum nicht auch 'X-Factor'? :D


    Grundsätzlich denke ich, dass solche Shows, vor allem die Finalshows solcher Castings ideal wären. Heute wird es in den USA beim 'American Idol Finale' wieder weit mehr als 30 Mio. Zuschauer geben, die Möglichkeit wäre also gut.

    It would see the King of Pop, who is playing a 50 date residency at the O2 arena in London from July this year to February next year, appear on the final show as a mentor to one of the three finalists and perform live singing in a duet with his contestant.


    Last year's winner Alexandra Burke sung with Beyoncé and other superstar guests from other series include Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue and boy band Take That.


    A programme source said: "As soon as it was confirmed Jackson would be in London performing at the O2 at the same time of the X Factor final, Simon [Cowell] saw a golden opportunity. Talks are at an early stage but progressing well. Jackson's representatives are open to negotiations and Jackson himself is said to be keen on the idea."


    "Simon's priority is to get bigger and bigger guests on the show each year and they certainly don't get much better than Michael Jackson. It would be a real coup for the show."


    The source added: "Simon [Cowell] desperately wants this and we are pulling out all the stops to make it happen. It will be the best series of them all and there is a real buzz building about this."


    Auditions for X Factor 2009 are already under way with the show beginning in late autumn.


    Tens of thousands of applicants will bid to make it to the show's final, held live on ITV1 the week before Christmas. The winner receives a one million pound recording contract.


    The source added: "A starring performance on the X Factor Christmas final, watched by millions of viewers, just weeks before his residency is due to end in London, will no doubt be as beneficial to Jackson as much as it would be for the X Factor."


    Meanwhile, it has emerged that Jackson's stage show dancers have been asked to commit to his tour for two years, sparking speculation the singer may play more than 50 dates at the O2.


    Twins Maya and Nandy McClean auditioned in Los Angeles to take part in the O2 shows and said they could not sign a contract for two years because they had other commitments.
