    Tito: He's doing very good. He's recording and doing songs for the hurricane relief victims. It'll be a great thing.

    Tito: Well, he's been relaxing basically. He's asked some friends to join him on some music. And he's just putting that together for the victims of hurricane Katrina and he's going to be ok.


    Rita: How's he doing? He's mostly in London too I understand. Sort of back-and-forth.


    Tito: Yes.


    Rita: How's he spending his time? I mean, what's he doing these days?


    Tito: He's basically relaxing and listening to music and recording music. He's being Michael doing his thing. He's a musical guy. You can't take that out of his life. He's enjoying what he loves to do.

    Also, wenn ich mir das ganze mal durchlese, sind das ja ganz schön viele "Hurricane - CD's" !!! Da gibt es die Single von Michael, die eine, welche schon releast wurde, dann dieses Doppel Album mit verschiedenen Stars, und noch ein eigenes Album von R.Kelly? Hab ich das jetzt richtig verstanden?


    Könnte es vielleicht nicht auch sein, dass Michael's Lied, oder ein Lied von Michael's angeblichen Hurrikan Liedern, auf diesem Doppel - Album erscheint? ´Somit hätte man nicht das Problem einer Plattenfirma??? Und als Release-Datum war doch sowieso mal der 21/22. Nov. im Gespräch. Naja, wäre wohl zu schön um war zu sein...     Pop singer Michael Jackson is close to completing his charity single for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, his spokeswoman has said.
    He is using global satellite and phone connections to work with the 12 participating artists from his base in the Middle East, added Raymone Bain.


    "All that remains is for two or three artists to do their tracks," she said. "Michael will then add his vocals.


    "He is now on the fast track and we're happy with the progress."


    Mariah Carey, R Kelly, James Brown, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z are among the artists appearing on the track.

    Lenny Kravitz, Wyclef Jean, Jay-Z and Missy Elliott are also involved in the project.


    Ms Bain said Jackson had rewritten the song several times and that it was no longer titled From the Bottom of My Heart.


    Proceeds from the song, to be released sometime this month, will be directed towards the Bill Clinton-George Bush Katrina Fund, the Push-Excel Hurricane Katrina College Relief Fund, and a disaster fund set up by the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences.


    Jackson has lived in Bahrain since his acquittal on child molestation charges in June.

Das wird auch der Grund sein warum er R.Kelly mit ins Boot holt...der hat nämlichen nen Plattenvertrag...und dann auch noch ein sehr sehr guten! Nicht nur finanziell, eher was die Freiheiten angeht. Kelly kann so ziemlich machen und veröffentlichen was er will.

    Michael Jackson Working on Katrina Single


    LOS ANGELES - Michael Jackson is close to completing his charity single for Hurricane Katrina relief and hopes to release the song sometime this month, his spokeswoman said Thursday.


    From his new base in the Middle East, Jackson has been working through global satellite and phone connections with the 12 recording artists who are participating, spokeswoman Raymone K. Bain told The Associated Press.


    "All that remains is for two or three more artists to do their tracks, and Michael will then add his vocals," Bain said in a phone interview. "He is now on the fast track, and we're happy with the progress."


    Last week, Jackson coordinated recording sessions with artists who were visiting Los Angeles for the Black Entertainment Television awards and went to studios to record their parts.


    Meredith O'Sullivan, a spokeswoman for rapper Snoop Dogg, and Sonia Muckle, who represents singer R. Kelly, said those artists have participated in the recording sessions.


    Jackson is the writer and producer of the track, Bain said.


    She added that Jackson has rewritten the song several times and is changing the title from the original, "From the Bottom of My Heart," to a new, undisclosed title. Jackson found he did not need as many artists to participate as originally planned, she said. The final tally will be about 12, she said.


    Jackson's plan is to provide disaster aid through three funds: the Bill Clinton- George Bush Katrina Fund, the Push-Excel Hurricane Katrina College Relief Fund and a disaster fund set up by the National Association of Recording Arts and Sciences.

    Popstar Michael Jackson will in Kürze seinen Benefizsong für die Opfer des Hurrikans "Katrina" veröffentlichen. Die Aufnahmen stünden kurz vor dem Abschluss, sagte Jacksons Sprecherin Raymone Bain.


    Jackson habe für das Lied mit zwölf anderen Künstlern zusammengearbeitet, darunter Snoop Dogg und R. Kelly. Der von Jackson geschriebene und produzierte Titel sollte ursprünglich "From the Bottom of My Heart" heißen, laut Bain will Jackson ihn jedoch umbenennen.
