    so war das auch nur gemeint ,nie anders, ich bedauere es keineswegs, dass dieser mann in rente ist, nein das bezog sich nur auf diesen emphatischen ausbruch, wo ich schon längst mit dem thema sneddon abgeschlossen hatte und er für mich schon gar nicht mehr existiert....

    Ich bin zwar weder 666 noch Blanket, aber ich erinnere mich, dass hier im Forum über die Wahlen zum Sheriff und zum Bezirksstaatsanwalt berichtet wurde.
    Neuer Sheriff = alter Sheriff
    Beim der Bezirkanwaltschaft gab es mehrere Kandidaten, u.a. ein Mann der sich af Mikey's Seite stellte, dem man aber Stimmenfang unterstellte.
    Gewonnen hat auf jeden Fall jemand aus Schneddi's Stall (o+ oder o-> :? )
    War das nicht zu der Zeit, als bekannt wurde das Mikey ein Schreinen mit der Aufforderung sich als Juror zu betätigen kam.
    *heut ma wieder nen besonders miesen Ausdruck an den Tag bringt*

    First Female Santa Barbara County D.A. to Be Sworn In Tuesday
    Christie Stanley has served in the District Attorney's office since 1980

    History will be made Tuesday morning as an Orcutt woman takes the oath of office to become the Santa Barbara County District Attorney.


    Christie Stanley has worked for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney since 1980. But starting Tuesday, she'll be the boss.


    Although she won by a landslide, it's something she once considered out of reach. Of the 58 district attorneys in California, only 9 are female.


    "When I told my mother I was going to run ... I wish my father was still alive to be there tomorrow ... she said 'people are so mean and it is going to be so tough,'" recalls Stanley. "And I know that."


    Stanley -- who has worked for the Santa Barbara County District Attorney since 1980 -- calls herself "a reluctant role model." She says it's noteworthy that she's the first female D.A. in county history. But that's about it.


    "I didn't get this job because I am a woman. And the public didn't vote for me because of that," says Stanley. "They voted for me because they thought I did the best job.


    Stanley takes over for Tom Sneddon, who has held the job for 24 years. Sneddon -- who came to national and international attention for his decision to prosecute Michael Jackson for child molestation -- decided not to run for a seventh term.


    Stanley -- who was Sneddon's top assistant in North County -- is changing the stationary and a few job titles. But she says most of the department will stay as is.


    Stanley and 13 other elected officials will be sworn in Tuesday morning in Santa Barbara. Also attending the ceremony will be former governor Pete Wilson, who will deliver the keynote address.
