schattenseiten seiner karriere...?

Paul - MJNO
In response to an earlier comment made by Murtaza, about there not even being an official statement made about the party. Likewise, there wasn't a statement that Michael would not be performing at the WMA's.But that doesn't change the fact that Michael did agree to go (Trish even posted the email somewhere, from Raymone, stating flat-out that Michael would like to attend), and that we met with Michael's team, in his hotel, 2 days before the event.
I don't like being negative, but it's time to stop running away from the facts. Things aren't going correctly for a reason.
I can speak only as myself, and as a club, in stating my treatment from Raymone, and Michael's team. I must stress that on the Monday, 2 days before the event, when we had met with Michael's team, everything was going swimmingly.
We laid down all the facts as to when our party was going to take place, what we had planned, etc. etc. and they were very impressed with what we had in store, and even exclaimed how well we had this thing organised. It was going to be a great party.
We did have venue issues, but we dealt with them. And the truth is, Raymone's team didn't even know we had changed venues, so this was not an affecting factor for...anything. Why didn't they know? Because they never kept in contact, and we were unable to reach them, despite leaving urgent messages with the hotel on the day.
There's just no excuse. Even if the party had been held at Cafe de Paris, they still didn't make the necessary arrangements. They did not contact the security company we had in store (yes, we got everything sorted), they did not come down to see the venue like they had agreed to do, nothing.
They quite simply, dropped the ball. And they have not apologised. They have not said thank-you. Instead, Raymone has made some wild (and weird) accusation that we were charging 100 US dollars (in England for some reason) to fans, and Michael wasn't happy about that.
Apart from the fact that no such tickets exist (and we have proven this to her, and have not received much response since!), this does not affect the factor of organisation from within Michael's team, to assist our party. We were not contacted to clarify this false information, and in fact, one of the last times we heard from Raymone, she had it in her head we were supposed to do some kind of a rally or something.
What kind of professional manager listens to what other people are saying about an event run by a fanclub, and not contact the fanclub for the real information? But not even that matters, because no real effort was made to assist in our party, after we had established what we'd be doing, on that Monday, and after we had been told to tell the fans Michael would be going!
Even on that day, in that meeting, we were told Michael was very excited about the party.
It all builds up, and this stuff just can't be denied. And like Alice pointed out, it's funny that for this Japan thing, they're charging $130 per ticket, when our fake ticket price was allegedly $100 (and the real price: $25!).
I don't know anything about Grace, I can only speak from my very own personal experiences. We lost so much money (about £2,000 of our own money) as a result of their dropping the ball, our party not happening, and so very many fans were disappointed - and of course, it only comes back to us. We're the ones to blame for their failing, and we're burned; cos we killed ourselves to try and do something nice for all of you, the fans, hence why this board is even here - it's here for you!
This is no way for the manager of Michael Jackson to be treating his fanclubs. The MJWMA Fan Party was an MJNO/MJJF fan party. In case you couldn't tell, we are the very biggest fanclubs in terms of sheer site popularity and membership. Most of the time, if you read a new official statement from Raymone, it will be from either us or MJJF, and this is how we've been treated...
So badly, that neither myself or Trish feel we can partake in this anymore, and have left our respective clubs, for which we have worked so very, very hard, for 5 whole years of our lives.
Needless to say there's a problem, and while we'd love for everything to be okay, it just isn't.

Dear Ms. Brown,
I was not aware that the plans to proceed with the event moving forward.
Prior to leaving for Europe, I asked William Marshall if he had heard
anything further regarding the event, and he informed me that it was
still in the planning stages and nothing definite had been confirmed.
While in Europe, I asked William Marshall, again, if he had been in
contact with Paul or anyone affiliated with him regarding the fan
function, and he again indicated that he had spoken to Paul, but
nothing definite had been planned.
I was not aware that Paul visited the hotel to see either William
Marshall or me.I told Mr. Jackson of the original plan, which was him to attend
a rally at a park, which was to begin at 12Noon and commence
after the WMAs, and that once plans were finalized, I was to
schedule a time for him to attend. He agreed to do so. I never
heard anything else.At the WMA's, several fans approached Mr. Jackson, and me,
and expressed concern that ticket prices for an after-party
were costing $100, which they, and Mr. Jackson felt were very
high, considering that many fans had already spent a great deal
of money traveling to London. We indicated to them that we
knew absolutely nothing about an after-party at a club, or a $100
ticket price. Was this the fan event that you were planning?I do want to get to the bottom of what happenend, what caused the
breakdown, and how a free event changed to one costing fans
$100

Yes, there was no rally. We're just as confused about this as you. In initialising this whole party, we sent a proposal to Raymone about what we were going to do, and we clearly stated it was a fan party. As Raymone states in the email, she was not even aware we met with William. So, our final plans, made on the Monday, supposedly did not get reflected to Raymone. Why is she then not blaming William?
Why is she more concerned about some fake $100 tickets (and let it be known in a later email, she claims to have seen the tickets, a blatant lie) than her own staff member completely and utterly dropping the ball?
It was like she was making us out to be the bad guys, which is such a slap in the face. She needs to take responsibility for her people, not just hand it off to one of her guys, and then seemingly ignore it.
To state again, the plans we laid down on the Monday were final enough for us to be told we should unquestionably tell the fans of Michael's attendance.
Paul MJNO
I didn't really want to touch on that point too much, and I'll speak only for myself in saying that it gave me a big push. I am pursuing by career though, but what happened definitely helped me out the door.I have so little motivation to continue with MJNO after all I went through on that day, to be completely honest. I don't think anyone can truly understand, except those that were there.

I left MJJF because of various reasons but due in part of the treatment that I have repeatedly received from various "Team MJ's." I won't even go into the real deal behind MJJsource -- hell I can't due to confidentiality but make no mistake, I was there from its' inception until Nov of 2004.Point blank (and excuse my language) I don't like being ****ted on whatsoever. Paul and I and the fans were ****ted on. We've worked HARD for Michael and his fans. Blood, sweat and tears spilled because of what and whom we believe in. Paul and I have never asked for anything in return but common courtesy and respect. But after a while as you keep getting disrespected, you remove yourself from the disrespectful situation.
So, yeah... I'm out.

BY THE WAY THIS IS AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM RAYMONE K BAIN.
ABOUT THIS WHOLE SITUATION OF THE AFTER PARTY IN LONDON.
READ IT PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!From: *********@aol.com
To: **********@yahoo.com
CC: *********@msn.com
Subject: Re: Don't Worry
Date: Mon, 18 Dec 2006 02:15:09 ESTThanks so much, Aaron for your support.
This is what happened:
Several weeks before the WMAs, I received a letter from Trish Brown
saying that she wanted to plan a fan rally in London, and wanted to
know if one was planned, would MJ attend.I checked with MJ and he said that he loved his fans, and would
be honored to attend. I emailed her and told her that MJ would
attend.I heard nothing else. I asked William Marshall in my office to reach
out to her, which he did; he began communicating with Paul.Prior to traveling to London, we heard nothing else regarding the
rally. While in London, Paul reached out to William, and they met.
By this time, it had turned into a party...which was okay....MJ said
that he would attend.William Marshall told me then, and he's consistently maintaining, that
Paul informed him that the event was canceled, because they were having
trouble booking a venue. While at the WMAs, MJ talked to some of the fans as he was leaving,
who informed us that they had paid $100 a piece for tickets for a party.
We knew nothing about it...the ticket read: Host: Raffles Van Exel. When I returned from London, I received emails from both Trish and
Paul. I received no emails from either of them when I was in London.Because what they said conflicted with what William Marshall said,
I asked if I could schedule a conference call between all of the parties
in order to get to the bottom of what actually happened; and, to
work to resolve what ever problems there were. I was told by Trish
that she would let me know when she, and Paul, were available for
the call. I was prepared to help Paul, who informed me that he had
to take money out of his pocket for the party...but, I still do not know
what party he is referring because we were informed that it had
been canceled.I have not heard from her since.
You now have the facts so you can understand why I'm perplexed
as to why I am being made the scapegoat for obviously plans that
went awry. Thanks again so much for your support.
Best.

und hier ist pauls antwort darauf:
ZitatAlles anzeigenThis is completely silly. Why is Raymone responding to Aaron, and not to the emails we have sent her as of late, regarding the situation.
To address that email, for all of you:
Never, not once, had I told William the party had been cancelled. The last communication I had with William was the Monday before the WMA's, and the day of the party, 2 days before.
The last he knew, the party was a go-ahead, and it was on that day, the Monday, that he had told me to unquestionably tell the fans of Michael's attendance.
As for the fan rally - I can post our proposal here if you guys would like. It states nothing about any fan rally, but a party.
About $100 tickets. Raymone is now saying that she was told about $100 tickets, but in an email to Trish (and she'll have to confirm for you) she states she saw the tickets.
Again, there are no $100 tickets, no such tickets exist. If any of you here bought tickets, you'll be able to confirm this. The ticket design did not even state a price on it, let alone a host.
Furthermore, why would we be selling tickets for 100 US dollars, in England?
Tickets were £15, and we have demonstrated this to Raymone.
We have tried to conference with Raymone, but she told us she did not have time. If we must, we will post all these emails here for you guys, to see.
EDIT: Here's our ticket design. It's one-sided. About 100 fans got one of these tickets, these are the only tickets that were on sale:
und hier noch etwas:Zitat
we sent Raymone a very forward email the other week. She has not responded. Matter of fact, here it is:
hallo?
was soll man dazu sagen...

Paul, MJNO
ZitatAlles anzeigenTo repeat, we showed this to Raymone. So why she is mentioning it is beyond me. We have established the facts with her. Why she was listening to an outside party about our event, and why she is responding to an outside party regarding our event now just goes to show how everything surrounding the party was handled - in a severely unprofessional manner.
Well, she seems to be blaming William, for he told her the party was cancelled. Why he would do this is beyond me. We never spoke to William after the Monday, when we had laid down the plans.
Raymone is stating that she has been trying to sort this out, that's not true. We tried to schedule a conference with her, she told us she did not have the time.
I don't know about this $100 ticket thing. I don't know if Raymone is lying about this, or if some very odd fan, or fans lied about this...but why would anyone do that, unless to sabotage our party.
Not that it makes a difference, because as Raymone claims, in that email, by then they thought the party had been cancelled.
This has all been a terrible ride, the unprofessionalism, the lack of communication, and it continues to this very day, right now. We sent Raymone a very forward email about a week ago, and she has not responded to it.
She is not attempting to sort this mess out. Her team is disorganised, to the point that they broke communication with us, and we were left out in the lurch, the day of the party, having to make a heartbreaking decision: do we cancel or not?
When you say break down in communication, for 2 days, after the Monday, we tried to reach them. We left URGENT messages with their hotel, for their rooms.
We gave them our number. After the meeting, they had our number, and never did they take it upon themselves to contact us.
Forget about the change of venue. They weren't even aware of any of this...because they had not been in contact with us. This is what I am trying to stress.
If your artist is going to a fan party, you keep in touch, you keep up to date. Not once did they contact us, we always had to follow up, and initiate contact.
I even got through to Raymone's room, on the day, and spoke with someone, one of her assistants, and I told them that we needed William to contact us urgently. William was there, I heard him in the background...I gave my number, and we stood outside the hotel for 2 hours.
He never called.
All of this I have already established. They dropped the ball. We killed ourselves to reach them, we killed ourselves to put together the party...and the fact is, at the end of the day, we had a party that was ready to go ahead, but they broke communication with us.
And now Raymone is stating William said the party had been cancelled. Well, he didn't get that from me - and if he didn't get that from me, why should it be considered official party information?
The cake we had made for Michael cost upwards of £300 (I can't remember the exact figure), it was custom made, by the chef of a Hilton hotel. We bought Michael a £500 mini digital camcorder.
We've lost a further £1,000 to venue hire, and, we were devastated beyond belief when we realised the party could not happen, because we could reach no one.
Needless to say, we have been trying to find out what happened, don't doubt that for a second. It has been one month, and we've received no definitive answers from Raymone, or anyone else.
And now we have this response, sent to someone else, about our party. This is the first I have heard about William supposedly saying we cancelled the party! (And even that is not true.)
-
