AllGood CEO Reaffirms Commitment to Jacksons Show
Allocco still believes “Michael Jackson is a man of his word”

Morristown, NJ (June 2, 2009) – Responding to several conflicting reports and mischaracterizations circulating in the media, Patrick Allocco, CEO of AllGood Entertainment, reiterated his desire to produce the Jackson Family Reunion concert with Michael Jackson and his siblings.

“Let me say this as clearly and unequivocally as I possibly can,” said Allocco. “I have spoken with Michael Jackson and I believe that he is an honorable man. A man of his word. I look forward to working with him and his entire family on the historic show we have been planning for more than a year.”

“Unlike so many characters in Michael’s past, we’re trying to put money – big money – in his pockets, not take money out of them,” continued Allocco. “All we want is for our show to go on, per the contract we executed with his manager late last year, and there will be no need for lawyers.”

The Jackson Family Reunion Concert is scheduled for July 3, 2010, at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

  • Kommt es nun also wirklich dazu?

  • TMZ: Michael Jackson's Word -- Worthless?

Posted Jun 2nd 2009 3:40PM by TMZ Staff

Michael Jackson's word holds about as much weight as his frame -- at least according to the promoter who plans on suing him over the Jackson family concert.

Michael told us yesterday he was gonna do the concert -- the one with Janet and the Jackson 5 in Texas in 2010 -- but the CEO of the company planning to throw the concert thinks Jackson's word is worth nothing.

Patrick Allocco told us his company will sue M.J. unless the singer signs on the dotted line, promising to sing with his sister and his bros.

Jackson has balked at doing the family concert, favoring his London gig ... which could be in jeopardy.

UPDATE: We just received the following comment from Allocco, "Let me say this as clearly and unequivocally as I possibly can ... I have spoken with Michael Jackson and I believe that he is an honorable man. A man of his word. I look forward to working with him and his entire family on the historic show we have been planning fo more than a year."

  • Jackson 5 Reunion Still Not Set as Michael, Promoter Square Off

The glove might be retired, but the suit's still on.

While Michael Jackson was videotaped telling a TMZ cameraman that, in a major 180, he would be performing a Jackson 5 reunion, organizers for the event say they have yet to hear officially from the Moonwalker—and they are still planning to sue his sequins off.

"We have no confirmation that Michael is still planning on doing the show," Patrick Alloco, a partner of AllGood Entertainment, tells E! News.

Last month, the promoter threatened to file a lawsuit against Jackson, alleging he reneged on an agreement to perform at Texas show with his brothers is and sister Janet. The contract (which reportedly paid Michael $3 million to $500,000 for each of his siblings) was signed by the King of Pop's former manager, Frank Dileo.

Alloco says his company is putting the finishing touches on the suit and he expects it to be "filed soon."

At the center of the contract in question is a noncompete clause forbidding the "Thriller" perpetrator from performing anywhere else in the world for 18 months surrounding the reunion gig, tentatively slated for July 3, 2010. That would render Jackson's ballyhooed 50-date London comeback concert series, set to kick off this summer, a major violation.

However, it appears AllGood may be willing to make a new deal.

Alloco says that if Jackson agrees to take part in the reunion, AllGood will call of the dogs.

"Nobody wants to go to court," the promoter says. "I think the whole thing all along is that we want our date in Texas and that's what we are interested in. We were willing to work around the London shows if he was willing to [do] the reunion show with us. That's all we are asking."

Ja, allerdings. So richtig schön Bain-Style. :rolleyes

  • :D Mr. Told...doch keine Blutsauger und Verbrecher mehr? ;)

Das habe ich auch niemals vorgeworfen. ;)

  • @ Korgi: weißt du was über Dileo?

    Was ein HickHack. :negativ
