You are about to become part of the most epic, international,
and crowdsourced Michael Jackson video of all time.

Whether you're filming props, backgrounds, playing instruments, or singing, this is your chance to work on not just any music video, but a video for a song by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Our goal is to gather material from all corners of the globe and everywhere in between and creatively mash as many people into one video as we possibly can.

We’re not concerned so much about the quality of your video. We want to see enthusiasm. Effort. Love. No matter how much experience you have or what type of camera you have, we are going to look at everything we get. Thousands will apply. Many will get in.

It’s easy to start. First, select a role you’d like to play. Then, there will be a series of storyboards to choose from. These storyboards will illustrate the type of angle and shot we’re looking for. For this to look like a coordinated effort, we’re really going to have to work together, so try to stay close to the storyboard. But, if you have an amazing idea for a shot, feel free to submit that too.

We can’t wait to see what you come up with.

It’s been a great campaign for the second single, Hollywood Tonight, in the UK thus far; with the song already having received four weeks of A-list support from Radio 2 (the nation’s biggest station) and a plethora of other key stations across the nation.

The song has been Top 10 for two weeks in the official Music Week Urban Club chart too.

And you may have seen Teddy Riley’s UK interview in Mojo magazine this month too.

Exciting newsflash: the official video for Hollywood Tonight will premiere online this week, and you can catch the UK TV premiere this Friday morning on Daybreak (ITV1). Don’t miss it.

Ich fordere hiermit den Rücktritt von John McClain!! Der Typ denkt scheinbar er ist Produzent und versaut durch sein Rumgestümpere einen Song nach dem anderen... Wahnsinn.
Ich setz mal vorraus, dass er diesen Billie Jean Beat zu verantworten hat.
Das macht den Song total billig... verzweifelt alten Erfolgen nachhächelnd...

Video ist sonst ganz nett... wenn auch relativ sinnfrei.

Ich finde, irgendwie geht der Groove bei der neuen Version ein bisschen verloren. Irgendwie mag' ich die Version zwar auch, aber ich versteh' nicht, warum sie Radio Edit und Video Edit unterschiedlich halten. Im Zusammenschnitt ist das ja durchaus normal, aber der Rhythmus/Flow bei Radio Version und Video Version ist ja doch in 99% der Fälle derselbe. Naja, dennoch ein gelungenes Video meiner Meinung nach.

Ich versteh das nicht. Da hat man mit "Hollywood Tonight" einen echt tollen Song, mit super Beatbox, schöner Melodie und überlagert das alles mit den Billie Jean Elementen, warum? Der ganze Flow, die ganze Ausstrahlung von HT ist so irgendwie weg, schade

Wird Zeit, dass wir den Estate mal langsam übernehmen. Oder was meint ihr?

...katastrophal! Was soll das? Ein No-Go nach dem Anderen...

Was soll denn der Scheiß? Da haben die wohl den falschen Audiotrack druntergemischt!

Wie unfähig kann man sein? Warum haben sie das Lies versaut?

Die hatten einen TOLLEN Song. Was macht man nun damit? Warum mixt man nicht einfach Billie Jean drunter, weil das das einzige Lied ist, das MJ in seinem Leben veröffentlicht hat. Sonst hat er keine Musik gemacht und außer dem Moonwalk konnte er auch nicht sonderlich gut tanzen. Warum sollen sie schon etwas anderes als Billie Jean veröffentlichen?

OMG... Also das Lied hätte ich an meinem Computer besser abgemischt. Einfach unfassbar. Das klingt wie irgendein Fanmade-Mist.
Also von dem neuen Mix bin ich absolut entsetzt. Katastrophal. Der letzte Mist.

Das Video ist aber immerhin um einiges besser als Hold My Hand. Mit dem Original-Mix wäre es noch viel besser. Vielleicht legt jemand mal das Original drunter und postet es? Wäre cool

Mir fällt gerade auf, dass da Vocals drin sind, die in der Original-Version nicht zu finden sind.
Und ich habe den starken Verdacht, dass da jemand ein Problem mit Teddy Riley hat. Hat er nicht "She's Hollywood, she's Hollywood" gegen Ende gesprochen in der Originalversion?
Und die Bridge war doch auch seine Kreation oder?
