    weiß jetzt nicht, ob schon etwas darüber bekannt ist, aber was hat LaToya eigentlich mit der Sache zu tun? Den Brief hat sie zumindest nicht mit unterschrieben und so hört man von ihr auch nix. Komisch, sonst gehörte sie ja auch immer mit zu den ersten Geiern.

    La Toya Jackson is a conscientious objector ... REFUSING to take part in the Jackson media war ... because she believes all of the PUBLIC feuding is damaging the family name.


    La Toya -- who's not exactly shy when it comes to publicity -- has been noticeably absent from the media blitz surrounding Michael Jackson's kids and the MJ Estate.


    We're told La Toya feels VERY STRONGLY that the most effective way to solve the family problems are NOT to attack each other in public ... but rather hash things out quietly ... and respectfully ... in private.


    So whose side is she on? Sources say she's definitely NOT aligned with Janet, Randy, Jermaine and Rebbie ... and wasn't thrilled to see them camera-whoring all over TV this week.


    Bottom line -- we're told La Toya wants what's best for Michael's kids ... and feels the quicker the family can stop making a public spectacle of themselves ... the better off the kids will be.

    Die Familie soll doch aufhören, ihren Streit öffentlich auszutragen, das würde dem Familien-Namen schaden. Man sollte das doch lieber auf privater Ebene machen. Sie wäre definitiv nicht auf Janets, Randys, Jermaines und Rebbies Seite. Sie würde nur das Beste für Michaels Kinder wollen und sie meint, je schneller die Familie das öffentliche Spektakel beendet, desto besser wäre es für die Kinder.


    Oh so spät LaToya.. und dann auch noch relativ vernünftig.. wie ungewohnt :D

    Katherine Jackson Meets Face-to-Face with Attorney



    Katherine Jackson's attorney said late Thursday that he had met with his client face-to-face for the first time in several days and that she was doing fine despite familial squabbling that forced a judge to temporarily suspend her as guardian of her son Michael's three children.


    "I had a long and productive meeting today with Mrs. Jackson," Perry Sanders Jr. wrote in a statement. "I am pleased to report that she is fine and she laughed at the widely publicized report that she had suffered a stroke."


    The description of Jackson suffering a stroke was included in a letter signed by five of her children calling on executors of Michael Jackson's estate to step down. The letter was leaked last week and was an early sign of turmoil that was to come for the Jackson clan. Since late Saturday when a relative reported Katherine Jackson missing, speculation has swirled about her whereabouts, her health and why she hadn't called her grandchildren for nearly 10 days. Rival factions in the family released dueling statements on Twitter and family members tussled in the driveway of her home in an incident that remains under investigation.


    Sanders said he would be releasing a formal statement Friday morning about his discussions with Katherine Jackson. He has previously said he will move to re-instate her as guardian over Jackson's children, Prince, Paris, and Blanket.


    Although Thursday was a mostly quiet day in the ongoing Jackson family turmoil, it was not without drama.


    "Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to," Prince Jackson wrote in a posting on his Twitter account. "I'm really angry and hurt."


    Hours later the post was deleted, but re-emerged by late afternoon, with the eldest son of Michael Jackson wondering if his account had been hacked. The post was the first time Prince Jackson, 15, had publicly commented on his grandmother's absence.


    A judge on Wednesday granted Tito Jackson's son TJ temporary guardianship over the children, citing concerns that Katherine Jackson was being prevented from fulfilling her role as guardian. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff said there were no indications the 82-year-old had done anything wrong, and he would likely re-instate her upon her return.


    Katherine Jackson had been at a Tucson, Ariz. spa since July 15 with her daughter Rebbie and other relatives and had not spoken to her grandchildren during that time. TJ Jackson and numerous others said that was unusual and when she did call, he said she sounded "strange."


    "I've never heard my grandmother talk like that," he said reluctantly. "In every way. The sound in her voice. The pauses."


    Sanders, who had flown to Arizona to try to meet with his client on Tuesday, was not allowed to see her at the resort.


    He said some of her speech sounded slurred and she used words that made him wonder if she was speaking in code.


    Before leaving Arizona to return to her hilltop home in suburban Calabasas, Katherine Jackson told ABC News that the court ruling was "based on a bunch of lies."


    If Katherine Jackson does not move for an emergency hearing to reinstate her guardianship position, another hearing in the case will be convened Aug. 22.

    Zusammenfassung: Das Resort besteht darauf, dass Katherine definitiv während des gesamten Aufenthaltes ein funktionierendes Telefon und auch Internet hatte.
    Die Viilla (in der Kathy untergebracht war) hat eine voll eingerichtet Küche, eine eigene Terrasse, einen eigenen Pool und auch einen Butler.


    Unterm Strich Katherine war nicht abgeschnitten von der Außenwelt, wie sie behauptete.
    Der Anwalt (von Kathy) sagte vor Gericht, dass in dem Teil wo Kathy war kein Kontakt zur Außenwelt möglich war.
    Das Miraval dementiert und sagt: Das ist einfach nicht wahr.

    The plot to turn Katherine Jackson against the Michael Jackson Estate has backfired in the most ironic of ways ... because the money grab could end up costing Katherine millions in perks.


    When Katherine was appointed guardian of Paris, Prince and Blanket, the Executors gave an allowance of $60,000 per month for the care of the children ... that's $720,000 a year. Less than a year later the judge increased the 60k to 70k, and that would make the yearly take $840,000.


    The judge is now in position to strip Katherine of guardianship altogether. If that happens, the executors will almost certainly petition the court to funnel the money in TJ's direction, since he would be caring for the children.


    Katherine never had control of the money for the kids, but she enjoys a lot of the perks the kids get, and that goes away if she loses guardianship. She would still, of course, retain the allowance she personally receives from the Estate.


    Short story ... Randy, Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie set out to turn Katherine against the estate so she could get more money during her lifetime -- money she could dole out to them -- but the plot may have actually screwed Katherine.


    When she realizes what hit her, mama's gonna be pissed.

    La Toya mag völlig daneben und oft peinlich sein, aber so eine Boshaftigkeit traue ich ihr nicht zu - gerade nach ihren Erfahrungen mit Jack. Insofern finde ich den Begriff Geier hier unpassend.
