Michael Jackson Coroner Report -- HOMICIDE

  • Something That's Definitely Dr. Murray's (De)fault
Posted Sep 1st 2009 2:00AM by TMZ Staff

Defaulting on your student loans -- $58,395.69.

Interest on that amount -- $11,623.43.

Possibly killing Michael Jackson -- definitely not priceless.

Dr. Conrad Murray lost a judgment to Sallie Mae back in March for not paying back his student loans. On Friday, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada slapped a tax lien on Murray in an attempt to get their money back.

Sallie Mae does not accept Propofol as a form of payment.

  • Doctor: Jackson wanted odd drug drip in ’94

Michael Jackson was requesting midazolam, which often goes by the brand name Versed, in New York City-area hospitals as early as 1994, according to a physician who was asked, but declined, to accommodate Jackson’s request.

According to the coroner’s report released Aug. 29, Jackson’s cause of death was “acute propofol intoxication” along with “benzodiazepine effect.” Midazolam is one of the benzodiazepines found in Jackson’s body, and is typically used in hospital settings for procedural sedation. Like propofol, it is not recommended to be used as a sleep aid.

“Late one night we received a call from one of Michael’s people, saying Michael couldn’t sleep, and he’d like a Versed drip,” said the physician. “They were calling ahead to make sure he could be admitted directly to the hospital, and not go through the emergency room.

“He was told no, he couldn’t just be given a Versed drip to go to sleep — that’s not an accepted medical use for Versed, and even if he was on it, he’d have to be hooked up to a cardiac monitor. He wanted to be left alone in the room after the drip was started.”

Paul Callan, former NYC homicide prosecutor and medical malpractice expert, said, “If these reports are true the doctors and hospitals are very lucky that New York’s 2.5-year medical malpractice statute of limitations and the statute for criminal charges have long ago expired preventing civil lawsuits and criminal charges.”

Callan also said that the hospitals and doctors involved could face sanctions. “They (the doctors and hospitals) are not out of the woods by any stretch... New York State authorities can bring disciplinary charges against the doctors and hospitals involved. Medical licenses can be suspended and severe fines imposed. This conduct is egregious and sanctionable,” said Callan.

:sad:sad:sad
Die Welt ist echt sch... korrupt ! :negativ

Alles also äußerst schwierig.

    Lie for it
    Spy for it
    Kill for it
    Die for it

    So you call it trust
    But I say it's just

    Of greed and lust

They'd do me for the money
    They don't care

  • Jackson Death Certificate: 'Injection by Another'

Posted Sep 1st 2009 7:00PM by TMZ Staff

Michael Jackson's death certificate has been amended -- now listing his fatal injury as "intravenous injection by another."

The document was updated to reflect the L.A. County Coroner's report which ruled Jackson's death a homicide.

The report also showed Michael's main cause of death was "acute Propofol intoxication" and a contributing factor was the presence of mulitple anxiety and insomnia medications in his system.

And now to link it all together ... a police affidavit shows Dr. Conrad Murray told cops he injected Michael with Propofol right before he died.

filled with anger, we must still dare to comfort. In a world filled with
despair, we must still dare to dream. And in a world filled with
distrust, we must still dare to believe.”

  • Jackson Homicide -- Focus Only on Dr. Murray
Posted Sep 3rd 2009 2:15AM by TMZ Staff

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the only person the LAPD is focusing on in Michael Jackson's homicide investigation is Dr. Conrad Murray.

TMZ has been reporting for weeks that other Jackson docs have been scrutinized by law enforcement and the L.A. County Coroner's office. Sources say, however, Dr. Murray is the only person in their crosshairs in the homicide investigation.

As for the other docs who prescribed to Michael Jackson, they are by no means in the clear. There is an active investigation on several fronts for fraudulent prescription practices as well as prescribing to an addict.
