Ich würde also dringend davon abraten, seinen Aussagen viel Beachtung zu schenken.

Ich muss dir da teilweise wiedersprechen. Schon vor der Ankündigung der London-Konzertreihe im März letzten Jahres war es "mickyj007", der als einer der ersten von der bevorstehenden Konzertankündigung gesprochen hat, der genaue Informationen hatte, wann Michael in London ankommt, auch als hier und in anderen Foren noch alle davon gesprochen haben, dass Michael sicherlich keine Konzerte geben wird, alles nachzulesen hier und hier.

Meiner Einschätzung nach wird "mickyj007" also schon seine Quellen haben, unabhängig davon, ob man ihn nun sympathisch findet oder nicht. Die neueste Aussage von Lenny Kravitz, dass "Another Day" Lead-Single wird, bestätigt ja nun mehr oder weniger, dass bald etwas passieren wird.

Definately. But in saying that, you can't put it in your mind that a new album is definately coming out in this time-frame. I'm not.

These are just the 'plans' thus far. Things can change.

However we are bound to get something in the near future if we think about it. The profit potential for the parties concerned is massive and they are literally sitting on a gold-mine from the stuff I've heard recently. It'll happen. It's just a matter of waiting.

It was truly the best.

There aren't that many songs I like first listen. This was one of them though.

Just once. I do remember some of the lyrics but like I've said before, they just cannot be posted because it'll ruin my chance of ever making a deal with this person for other tracks.

I bet you the Vince track from 2000 I heard is released.

The new album will contain several tracks from the 2003 album, plus some out-takes from Invincible with Rodney Jerkins. These tracks will be blended with post 2005 (2006 to 2009) material for a full album of 12-15 tracks.

All material on the album will be complete. There will be no demos.

The song (Another Day) has a very high chance of making the album from what I'm told.

Sony is currently going through all the unreleased material and picking the strongest songs. They began this process a couple months ago and have been working with producers to get the full rights to the music, and in some cases, to get the producers to finish the tracks. This process will continue for the next month before everything comes together and a press release is issued sometime in late April or early May. Of course, the estate must approve the album. Expect TMZ to pick up on some of these back and forth communications from now into May. The goal right now, is to get a single out by June 25th for the 1 year anniversary of MJ's death to capitalize on the huge publicity that will come with the event. The release date of the album is tentatively set for the last two weeks of August. A final date has not been decided upon, but my source says look for something close to MJ's birthday.

As for the material, as I said, it's a mix of Invincible album cuts, 2003 recordings meant for a new album before the trial halted that project, plus tracks recorded after the trial between 2006 and 2009. There are at least two duets, one with Lenny Kravitz, and another unknown. It's hard to give any more info because nothing is set in stone on the track list, they are setting a minimum of 10 tracks with a maximum of 15.

I cannot confirm what the lead single will be. They are talking about Another Day, but are contemplating another more recent song as the lead off single. So we will have to wait on that one. If I do get anything final on the first single, I will let you guys know.

Yeah, if they [the estate and co.] are fine with releasing unfinished recordings. Vocals wise, only the chorus is really present, however not fully complete imo. The verses are essentially a mix of humming/gibberish and clearly unfinished vocals.

It's a far from finished track, but it's a nice track. And it is absolutely nothing like anything on Dangerous haha. The whole song is completely different and putting it on Dangerous, well.. let's just say it wouldn't have fit with the flow at all. It's about as complete as In The Back.

I was just using that as a comparison to how far it came in the recording and production process. For what it is, it's a very nice demo.

The first album of new MICHAEL JACKSON material since the King of Pop's death last year (09) will be led by a track he recorded with LENNY KRAVITZ for his INVINCIBLE release.

Jackson cut the track because he felt it was "too rocky" for the album, but now producers have decided it's the best unreleased tune from the pop superstar's recent back catalogue.

And Kravitz reveals it was amazing to work with his idol, "It was a blessing... I got to work with this cat and we had so much fun. We laughed all day long; he's a funny, funny dude, and the work ethic was serious... We had a lot of respect for each other. It's a beautiful memory.

"It's (song) really about how his life has been so incredible, and, without God, it wouldn't be so."

Ich bin ja so gespannt. Hoffentlich stimmen die Gerüchte. "Another Day" als erstes Lied fänd ich mega geil, da das Lied einfach der Oberhammer ist.
Und dann noch als Single und alles wäre Perfekt. Das Lied und Album wird einschlagen wie eine Bombe und garantiert das heißerwarteste Album des Jahres. Es wird alles in den Schatten stellen, was dieses Jahr rauskommt.

Yeah, you're right. I spoke to the bassist at length through email for some time after the snippet was leaked and he said it was recorded in 1998. The actual snippet that was leaked was simply a rough unfinished mix of the song, and not the final version.

He told me MJ would scour the studio for tapes and CDs that were lying around, every day after recording. He was surprised even this rough mix sample was leaked.

The track I heard was called "Can't Get Your Weight Off Of Me" and was recorded in 2000 supposedly. It's not to be confused with anything on Youtube by that name lol. From the sample I heard, it sounded insane, so I'm hoping that makes the cut.

-> 'mickyj007' behauptet also der Song, in welchen er kurz hineinhören durfte trägt den Titel "Can't Get Your Weight Off Of Me". Bei Youtube kursiert seit Jahren ein Fake-Song mit dem Titel "Get Your Weight Off Me" . Er betont, dass es sich nicht um diesen Song handeln würde. Aber dennoch etwas kurios: vor einigen Tagen sagte er noch er darf den Titel in keinem Fall nennen und nun nennt er ihn doch. Bleibt also nur abzuwarten, ob da nun doch etwas dran ist, oder ob er sich nur (und wenn ja wäre es ziemlich dilettantisch) wichtig machen möchte.

Ich finde es gut das ein Album rauskommen soll, aber ist es nicht irgendwie falsch?? ich finde es irgendwie pietätlos, sowohl von den Fans *die sich ja klammern müssen, weil sie nicht über den Verlust hinwegkommen*, als auch von den Producern schon heuer *angeblich* Todestag oder B-day ein neues Album rausbringen!
Sicher würde ich es mir fix kaufen, ich gehören zu den "klammernden" Fans, aber ich fühle mich irgendwie schmutzig

ich glaube nicht dass Sony (?) sich eines dieser Daten aussuchen wird das ist spekulatius und zum pushen der "gerüchte" gedacht...
