    Lavelle Smith Jr.

Michael always told me: "attention to details, LaVelle"... I've spent over two decades by his side and paid attention to details of his actions and behavior.

I NEVER saw nothing inappropriate and the reason is simple: his heart is pure <3 and genuine.

Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about fake accusers and money seekers.

Almost ten years ago we said "rest in peace", but apparently "rest" and "peace" never was a choice for him before and after his passing.

    Thank you Lavelle! :thumbup::wub

So fertig.

  • Defending Neverland: Statement from The Jacksons

    04 March 2019

    Jackson-5.jpg

From Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Marlon Jackson

"This Wednesday and Thursday Channel 4 is launching an attack on our brother Michael. He is not here to defend himself, so we feel compelled to do it for him.

Michael is innocent of these baseless allegations of child abuse, sexual misconduct and paedophilia. The only thing that Michael was ever guilty of was being naïve to what the outside world may think of those beautiful days that our families and friends all enjoyed at the Neverland ranch.

This film rehashes accusations against Michael that have already been shot down in a court of law.

Michael loved his family, his friends and lived life to the fullest before it was so cruelly taken away. Now that life of kindness and generosity is being tainted.

We are told that the film carefully curates selected extracts from past interviews Michael did in life, strategically edited to answer allegations made after his death - answers to questions that were never in fact put to Michael. This is not a neutral search for the truth, but a kangaroo court-like film made with a clear agenda to sensationally besmirch the good name of Michael.

The subjects of the "documentary" - James Safechuck and Wade Robson - who have come forward now, have absolutely zero credibility and the courts have already assessed that no rational person could believe that Robson is telling the truth.

With no facts, no credible witnesses, no evidence, the film is a hurtful falsehood.

Robson at the 2005 trial gave unequivocal sworn testimony that there was no inappropriate behaviour or abuse and continued to praise and defend Michael against the allegations. Then, years later in 2012, Robson claimed he was sexually abused."

  • Exclusive: Michael Jackson Accuser Wade Robson Is Ready for Donations with a New Non-Profit Designed to Cash In On “Leaving Neverland

When “Leaving Neverland” airs tonight on HBO, Michael Jackson accuser Wade Robson is ready to cash in.

He’s created a website and a not for profit called Robson Family Fund. There’s a nice donation page where you can send him money. Robson is not stupid. He’s made sure no one can see any filings for the Fund. He’s hidden it under the Hawaii Community Foundation. That way he and his wife, Amanda, don’t have to file a Form 990 with the IRS. They can accept money from anyone– the filmmakers, HBO, etc– and never have to reveal it. Amanda, by the way, native to Hawaii, has a design firm called FeastHawaii, and is getting a lot of press. She also owns bookstore/cafe there.

Putting a charitable foundation under a Fund is quite smart, especially for celebrities. Leonardo DiCaprio has his Foundation hidden under a similar fund in California. We will never know where LDF’s money has gone– or come from. If “Leaving Neverland” director Dan Reed paid the Robsons for their home videos included in the documentary, this is where it would have gone. A lot of people have asked Wade if he was paid to be in the documentary, and he’s said no. But no one’s asked if the filmmaker or HBO has donated money to this foundation.

The website states: “The Robson Family Fund at the Hawaii Community Foundation was established in 2019 by Wade and Amanda Robson. Wade Robson, a survivor of child sexual abuse, along with Amanda Robson, his wife, mother of their child and also a survivor of child abuse, wanted to create a powerful way to contribute towards the healing from and prevention of child abuse.”

On the page for the Fund, donations begin at $250.

I give the Robsons credit. They really embraced child sexual abuse as a cause. I’m surprised Janet Arvizo, mother of Michael’s failed 2005 accuser, didn’t think of something this good. So far, no word on whether Jimmy Safechuck or his family has gotten involved.

The whole thing reminds me of the late, great Nicole Brown Simpson Foundation, which turned out to be piggy bank for the family of OJ Simpson’s murder victim/ex-wife. Everything, you see, must be monetized.

I don’t believe Michael Jackson’s accusers in ‘Leaving Neverland’

    by Eddie Scarry | March 04, 2019 05:45 PM

Every major advance review of HBO’s "Leaving Neverland" gave the impression that audiences would invariably come away from watching it convinced that Michael Jackson sexually abused little boys. That’s not what happened for me.

In fact, after watching, I disbelieve the two men in the documentary. It isn't hard.

The first half of the film aired Sunday night. It recounts the allegations of Wade Robson, now 36, and James Safechuck, who is 41. Both were friends of Jackson in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and both now say that Jackson kissed them, masturbated in front of them, and engaged in oral sex with them.

The allegations aren’t new. Both men several years ago filed lawsuits against the Jackson estate for their supposed abuse. Their claims were dismissed because of the statute of limitations under California law.

Both men had also in the past stated under oath that Jackson never behaved inappropriately. Safechuck made his statement when he was still a child during the 1993 sexual abuse trial against Jackson, which was ultimately settled out of court.

But Robson’s situation is even more bizarre. He, like Safechuck, said in 1993 that he was never abused by Jackson. He was a child then as well but even as an adult, he testified a second time that there was no misconduct. In the 2005 trial against Jackson, again, for sexual abuse, Robson was in his early 20s. Under oath, and presumably sitting before a plaintiff who had accused Jackson of sexual abuse, he again said that that Jackson had not molested him.

You can imagine that a child, in shame and fear, would refuse to admit he had been inappropriately fondled. It's even reasonable to imagine adults keeping silent out of the same fear or shame. But why would he go to the length of testifying falsely on Jackson's behalf in court, under oath, and then continue to maintain that position right up until it was too late to make a real difference?

    From the 2005 court transcript:

Counsel: “Mr. Robson, did Michael Jackson ever molest you at any time?”

    Robson: “Absolutely not.”

Counsel: “Mr. Robson, did Michael Jackson ever touch you in a sexual way?”

    Robson: “Never, no.”

“Leaving Neverland,” isn’t the soul-shaking experience that critics claim it is. If not for journalists still enthralled by the #MeToo movement, it wouldn’t even register.

It’s supposed to be OK to hate Michael Jackson now. He’s dead and he can no longer defend himself. Besides, settling the score on old sexual abuse claims is all the rage. (See “Harvey Weinstein,” et al.) But the media have mistaken the #MeToo movement for a blanket of justice where every accusation of sexual misconduct is presumed true. They can't all be true.

Like the accusations against Justice Brett Kavanaugh — he was in a rape gang! — the ones against Jackson in "Leaving Neverland" are as believable as you want them to be.

New York Times critic Wesley Morris scandalized readers with a Feb. 28 review, describing a scene in the documentary where Safechuck displays jewelry that he says was given to him by Jackson. “[T]here’s something about the way the filmmakers reserve this scene for the back end of Part 1 that ices your bones, something about the way an adult Safechuck doesn’t seem to want to go back there,” wrote Morris. “But here he is, talking in a TV documentary about the vows he says that he and Jackson exchanged. Here he is, forlorn, holding the ring that he’s kept, all this time, in a handsome box.”

That description did not at all match the scene that viewers were ultimately treated to on Sunday. Safechuck pulled out a box of jewelry. Though he says he doesn’t like looking at it, it’s clear that he cherishes it. He hasn’t let it go in more than 30 years. Why would he? After all, it was only given to him by the man that Safechuck says masturbated while watching him naked, bent over on all fours.

Assume that the jewelry really was given to him by Jackson. I don’t buy that he “doesn’t seem to want to go back there.” In fact, throughout the documentary, it’s clear that both Safechuck and Bronson do want to “go back there.” They recall at length being friends with the biggest star the world has ever seen, the perks of being so close to Michael Jackson.

They both discussed how they were flown around the world to appear with him on stage during his concerts. Robson was in Jackson's music videos. Safechuck was featured in one of his iconic Pepsi commercials. Both men recount their friendships with Jackson in vivid, exciting detail: the hotels, the flights, the life.

It’s only when they describe the coming end of their time with Jackson that they seem upset.

They're wistful. They remember no longer feeling like they were his “favorite."

I don’t believe Robson or Safechuck.

“Leaving Neverland” doesn’t look like an expose on sexual abuse. It looks like a break-up story, with additional accusations thrown in and legitimized by the #MeToo era.

  • The MJCast's Legal Correspondent, Charlie Thomson, recently appeared on BBC Radio to school the presenters on the facts the media are covering up regarding #LeavingNeverland. J.
