Dr. Murray Unter Verdacht

:never

Tell her to go to hell!!!" :respekt

    Ach Michael :down

  • New Details Emerge Against Jackson's Las Vegas Doctor
    Updated: Jul 30, 2009 12:11 AM

There are new developments into the investigation of Doctor Conrad Murray, the man at the center of the investigation into Michael Jackson's death. Authorities say Murray was in the room trying to revive Jackson on June 25, 2009.

Los Angeles Police are trying to figure out if the doctor gave Jackson a fatal dose of propofol or if Murray was not involved at all in the death.

A stroll through the Clark County Recorder's Office revealed Doctor Conrad Murray had a history of failing to pay bills.

He's back on child support payments totaling more than $9,000. The company that installed his pool put a lien on the house for more than $7,000. He failed to pay at least one credit card bill from Capital One.

In the past two years alone he has $435,000 in judgments and liens against him.

His friend John Thomas told the CBS Early Show Dr. Murray never gave the impression that he needed money. "Dr. Murray always gave the image that things were fine -- that he was doing very well and he would never. I mean, he lived in Red Rock, drove a BMW, so you never got that impression," he said.

Last week his bank started the foreclosure process on Doctor Murray's Red Rock Country Club home. County papers show Dr. Murray missed his first mortgage payment of more than $15,000 in January.

The title company on his loan says since then he racked up more than $100,000 in debt and penalties.

Thomas says Jackson's $150,000 a month payments to Murray since he signed on last May would help him out of, "some financial troubles."

Doctor Cheryl Bryant-Brice says the entire situation boils down to a doctor for hire. "It's a business. It's medicine, but it's a business," she said.

She was offered a job at Doctor Murray's Houston clinic, but turned him down.

The business relationship between Jackson and Dr. Murray is at the heart of the investigation. The doctor has not spoken publicly since the death, but he is cooperating with the investigation. He opened the outer gate of his home and walked agents inside for Tuesday's raid.

Authorities pulled five or six plastic storage containers of evidence, several thick manila envelopes, cell phones, and a computer hard drive from Doctor Murray's home. Several more boxes and bags worth of documents were carted away from his office.

  • CNN: Feds Zero in on Conrad Murray

CNN's Randy Kaye reported on Anderson 360 that sources say Conrad Murray is the only doctor they are currently focusing in on in the manslaughter investigation around Michael Jackson's death.

This is despite many unverified reports that up to 20 doctors were allegedly being looked at.

There is speculation that a mysterious number of unnamed doctors were being probed. But either the police have ruled them out in the death of Jackson, or the cause of death had nothing to do with anything those doctors may or may not have given Jackson years or months ago.

    From Kaye's report (July 29 2009):

KAYE: There has been some movement here, Anderson. First let me tell you right away that a federal law enforcement official is telling us quote doctor Murray is the only one they are looking at. Once again that's from a federal source saying they are only looking at doctor Conrad Murray.

It's important to point out that we know other doctors' records have been subpoenaed but now with three search warrants served on doctor Murray, clearly he is the central focus.

  • Dr. Murray's Employees Tell Different Stories
Posted Jul 30th 2009 1:10AM by TMZ Staff

The two women who allegedly went to Dr. Conrad Murray's Houston storage unit and removed boxes just hours before Michael Jackson was pronounced dead are telling inconsistent stories about what was taken from the storage facility.

We spoke with LaQuisha Middleton and her sister, LaQuanda Price, both of whom worked for Dr. Murray at the time. LaQuisha is the office manager. LaQuanda was laid off within the last month.

The manager of the storage facility tells us the two sisters came to Dr. Murray's unit at 9:22 AM Los Angeles time the day Jackson died and picked up 3 - 5 boxes, in addition to other items they carried out by hand. The manager says she personally spoke with both sisters at the facility.

But Wednesday -- outside Dr. Murray's Houston office -- LaQuanda told us she stayed in the office the day Jackson died and did not go to the storage facility. She says her sister went and retrieved one bio-hazardous box -- filled with used needles. She says Dr. Murray did not call and direct either of them to go to the storage facility. As for why they would pick up a box of used needles and take it back to the office, LaQuanda says they were just moving things around in the office.

LaQuisha told a totally different story. She says the only thing she picked up was a chair. She also says Dr. Murray did not direct her to go to the facility. As for why she went, she said "I always go."

They also don't believe Dr. Murray administered a fatal dose of Propofol to Jackson.
