Offiziell: 'Hollywood Tonight' zweite Single !

Wenns stimmt, dann gebe ich dem Album nochmal richtig gute Chancen. Hoffentlich hauen sie noch ein halbwegs gut gemachtes Video dazu. HT wird garantiert ne ordentliche Menge an Club-Remixes hinzubekommen. Jetzt könnte endlich MJ-Lifestyle in die Clubs kommen.

Ein Video halte ich für absolut zweitrangig. Michael ist nicht mehr da, er war der Anziehungspunkt in Videos. Irgendwelche Zusammenschnitte sind uninteressant und zudem hat das Musikvideo als PR-Baustein einfach an Bedeutung verloren. Sollte für irgendeinen Song allerdings Material exisitieren, das Michael im Studio zeigt, ändert das natürlich die Lage...

Und ob HT noch groß was rausholt fürs Album, ich bin zumindest skeptisch, dafür ist es bisher zu schlecht gelaufen. Aber abwarten...

Wenn zumindest eine Version von HT rausspringt, mit verkürzter Bridge bin ich zufrieden

Ich glaube, "Hollywood Tonight" wird kaum mit "Hold My Hand" mithalten können.

Das Lied ist zwar eindeutig besser, aber ich denke nicht, dass es im Radio ankommen wird.

Und warum nicht? Das Lied ist besser, aber es wird nicht gut ankommen? Kann die Argumentation nicht nachvollziehen...
Es wurde auf einem GB-Sender gespielt, alle waren davon begeistert und haben es mit Billie Jean verglichen.

Ich habe das mal zu einem eigenen Thema zusammengeschoben. Denke, das ist der Song wert!

The second official single from Michael Jackson’s album MICHAEL has been confirmed as ‘Hollywood Tonight’.

Written by Michael during the time of the INVINCIBLE album, Michael pulled the track out of the archives in 2007 to work on the song with producer Ron “Neff-U” Feemster. The track was written by Michael Jackson (spoken bridge by Teddy Riley) and produced by Michael with Teddy Riley and co-production from Neff-U.

It follows lead single “Hold My Hand”, a duet with Akon, which gave Michael his 55th UK top 10 smash hit single - extending his run of UK top 10 hits to 40 years. It is the second single to be lifted from the album MICHAEL which is the fastest selling new Michael Jackson studio album in the UK since 1991’s DANGEROUS and was certified platinum within one week of release.

I am now getting all the relevant info release date cd single etc etc, and will be back in a jiffy.

I can confirm, Hollywood tonight is now available for download. it will be put to all radio stations for air plays with a tentative cd release date of early March.

Naja... es gibt Songs, die sind radio-tauglicher und mehr Mainstream als andere. Hold my hand finde ich auch nach wie vor als erste Single passend.. TROTZ Akon.

Hollywood Tonight ist aber auch einer meiner Favoriten auf dem Album.. definitiv die beste Up-Tempo Nummer.. bin mal gespannt, wie es ankommt.
Vielleicht vertut man sich und es schlägt ein.. und somit das Album auch wieder.

Ausschnitte von Michael im Studio oder so wird es sicher noch ungesehene geben... Ich fänd's schade, wenn ER so gar nicht in nem Musikvideo zu sehen wäre....
Ich find ja das fanmade Video schon toll... so die Idee dahinter.
