    Criminal Complaint Ready in Michael Jackson Death

    Sources tell TMZ the L.A. County District Attorney's Office has a criminal complaint drafted and ready to file against Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson.


    We're told it's now just a matter of timing before Dr. Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter -- a felony that carries a maximum 4-year prison sentence.


    As we first reported, Dr. Murray plans on surrendering today, so all signs point to the D.A. filing criminal charges as early as this morning.


    Dr. Murray is in Los Angeles and his legal team is already mapping out strategy.

    Conrad MurrayThe L.A. County District Attorney's Office has told Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers they will call just before Dr. Murray is charged with the death of Michael Jackson and a surrender will take place almost immediately thereafter ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.


    Our sources say ... as of 8:35 AM PT, the D.A. has not made the call.


    As we reported yesterday, Dr. Murray planned to surrender today and appear in arraignment court after being charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson. The ball is in the D.A.'s court.


    Dr. Murray is waiting.

Der „King of Pop“ starb dem Totenschein zufolge an einer „akuten Vergiftung“ mit Propofol. Murray hatte dem 50-jährigen Jackson Morgen seines Todestages etliche Beruhigungsmittel gegeben.

    Dr. Conrad Murray has dates in too many courtrooms ... we've learned Dr. Murray was supposed to be in a Las Vegas court this morning and just lost the case because he failed to appear.


    Dr. Murray is being sued by Digirad Imaging Solutions, Inc., for not paying bills totaling $131,848.37. We're told Dr. Murray used the services of Digirad in his Vegas medical practice.


    The case was called this morning but Dr. Murray -- who is in L.A. waiting to surrender on involuntary manslaughter charges in the death of Michael Jackson -- was a no-show.


    The judge entered a default judgment for the amount owed plus interest.

    Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyer says he's in the dark -- and doesn't even know if the D.A. will file charges in the death of Michael Jackson.



    J. Michael Flanagan just arrived at his law office in Glendale, CA, and said there are "no plans" to turn Dr. Murray over to authorities.


    As we have already reported, however, we know Dr. Murray's legal team has been in touch with the D.A. and they were told they'd get a call as soon as charges were filed so Dr. Murray could go to the courthouse in downtown L.A. and surrender.


    As we first reported, the D.A. has already drafted a criminal complaint against Dr. Murray, who will be charged with involuntary manslaughter in Michael Jackson's death.

    LAPD Near Home Where Dr. Murray Is Staying

    An unmarked LAPD car just arrived near the home where Dr. Conrad Murray has been staying in the L.A. area.


    TMZ is at the Santa Monica apartment building where Dr. Murray's baby mama lives. We saw Dr. Murray at the apartment yesterday afternoon.


    A plainclothes officer was in the car, parked on the same street but about 50 yards away from the apartment. The cop just said he is not there for Dr. Murray but would not say more.


    Dr. Murray's lawyers plan on surrendering Murray after he is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.

    Dr. Conrad Murray - Not Charged Today

    Two law enforcement sources have just told TMZ Dr. Conrad Murray will not be charged today in the death of Michael Jackson.


    As we first reported, Dr. Murray's lawyers prepared yesterday to surrender Dr. Murray today, but we are now told the D.A. will not pull the trigger until tomorrow at the earliest.


    And, sources tell us, when Dr. Murray appears in court for the first time, the D.A. will recommend that bail be set at $25,000 -- standard for involuntary manslaughter in L.A. County.

    Ich befürchte, die arbeiten an einem plea bargain.....der geht raus auf bail...und dann passiert erstmal wieder nix :negativ ...irgendwann kommt es dann zur Verhandlung und er kriegt minimum sentence, wenn überhaupt....nur so, dass sie sagen können "wir haben den Schuldigen gefasst....aber es ist ihm leider aus Versehen passiert...er bereut seine Fahrlässigkeit"....etc.

    Conrad MurrayDr. Conrad Murray will be arraigned Friday and charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ.


    We're told Dr. Murray will turn himself in to the LAPD Friday morning. He will be booked and then taken to Airport Court in L.A., Division 144, where he will face a judge at 1:30 PM.


    A pool video camera and a still camera will record the event.

    Tension Between LAPD and D.A. in Jackson Case

    LAPD officials feel slighted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney in the Michael Jackson case, and the cops made their point clear in a secret meeting yesterday .... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.




    Sources say there was a "high level meeting" yesterday between officials from both departments. The D.A. had kept the LAPD in the dark over the arrest and prosecution of Dr. Conrad Murray. In fact, until yesterday the LAPD was not informed of any plan for the arrest or surrender of Murray on involuntary manslaughter charges.


    We reported earlier in the week that lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray had been in touch with the D.A. and planned to drive the doctor themselves to the courthouse where he would be arraigned. That plan would have completely excluded the LAPD from the process.


    The D.A.'s plan was especially maddening for the LAPD because detectives in the Robbery Homicide Division had spent months putting the complicated case together. Inside sources say it's one of the best, most thorough investigations the LAPD has conducted in years.


    The upshot of yesterday's meeting -- the D.A. and LAPD made a plan -- the LAPD will place Dr. Murray under arrest on Friday morning, handcuff and book him, then take him to court at 1:30 where he will be arraigned.

    Los Angeles (RPO). Der Leibarzt von Michael Jacksons, Conrad Murray, soll sich am Freitag wegen des Tods des Popstars vor Gericht verantworten. Das berichtete der Internetdienst "TMZ" unter Berufung auf Ermittlerkreise.

    Murray werde sich am Freitagmorgen der Polizei in Los Angeles stellen und um 13.30 Uhr Ortszeit einem Richter vorgeführt. Der Arzt werde wegen fahrlässiger Tötung belangt.


    Dem Mediziner wird vorgeworfen, Jacksons Tod im vergangenen Juni durch die Gabe eines starken Narkosemittels verursacht zu haben. Offenbar wird der Arzt den Gerichtssaal am Freitag als freier Mann verlassen. Laut "TMZ" wird der Staatsanwalt eine Kaution in Höhe von 25 000 US-Dollar verlangen. Dies sei die Standardsumme in einem Verfahren wegen fahrlässiger Tötung im Bezirk Los Angeles.

    LAPD/D.A. Feud Derails Dr. Murray Arraignment

    The scheduled arraignment Friday for Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson will not take place as scheduled because of the feud between the L.A. County D.A. and the LAPD over Dr. Murray's surrender.



    As we first reported, the LAPD was bent out of shape -- and that is an understatement -- because the D.A. had kept cops in the dark and had been working with Dr. Murray's lawyers to arrange a voluntary surrender in court at the time of the arraignment.


    The plan as of this afternoon -- Dr. Murray's lawyers would drive him to the L.A. County Sheriff's Office at the Airport Courthouse in L.A. at 5:30 AM Friday, along with a bail bondsman. Dr. Murray would be booked, post bail and then walk into court without handcuffs or chains.


    We're told the LAPD so vehemently objected to the plan ... the D.A. finally backed off. The LAPD wants to arrest Dr. Murray, book him and bring him into court in handcuffs and/or chains -- something that is fairly standard in homicide cases.


    The plan has fallen apart and we're told ... as of now ... there will be no arraignment tomorrow.


    It's starting out shaky, folks.

    Ich hoffe dass dieser komische Doc nicht so leicht davon kommt.Aber da er ja nur wegen fahrlässiger Tötung angeklagt wird,hat er sicherlich Glück und bekommt vielleicht sogar nur eine Bewährungsstrafe.
